According to Gina, over on p411, one of the biggest complaints from the guys, and a big reason why the ad board was pulled, was that ladies would post ads saying they were visiting a city and then canceling when there was not enough pre-booked appointments. Running ads here and then canceling would be the same. Best solution, co-ed post asking if there is interest.

Gina - The reason for the increase is that some providers are posting numerous "fishing" ads. The increase was put in place with the intent of having providers post less spammy ads in cities they never plan to visit, leaving the site less cluttered for the providers who are serious about a visit in that city (or who are local).

Gina - If a provider is relying on pre-bookings to determine whether she's going to tour, I can tell you that a huge percentage (90%+) of those "tours" are going to fall through. Very few clients like to pre-book in that manner. Most (if not all) touring providers also rely on short notice appointments to be successful.

So if a provider isn't willing to make the gamble of committing to the visit, she is almost guaranteed to not have enough bookings to want to follow through with the tour. Which is a waste of time and energy for the clients who have contacted her, and affects the providers who were actually available in that city because those clients could have contacted them instead.

Gina - Grace, if you are following through on 18 out of 20 of the cities you advertise in, you certainly are not part of the problem and your ads are not "fishing" ads because you are serious and follow through 90% of the time. Unfortunately though, the vast majority of providers who post multiple ads in multiple cities have a far smaller success percentage.

The number of providers cancelling "tours" because they didn't get enough pre-bookings is high enough that I handle complaints about it every single day. In fact, fishing ads posted by providers who don't have any sort of real plan to visit the city are the number one complaint from clients and providers alike. Those providers really don't have an intent, they just want to see what they get.

Fishing ads suck, not in a good way.



She has stated it more specifically. It might have been in the notice sent out when the board was pulled. (Maybe she will chime in on this) Basically, ladies floating ads with dates and then having no intention of showing up sucks for clients. As I said, it was not THE determining factor, but all of those things feed into each other. Ad posting violations and skirting the rules... :/

Color is better IMHO ... or at the very least some color 50% plus ... black and white makes me think deception ... black and white is what "mixed" race girls post to try and avoid saying that even though they are "mixed" they really look black.
