That sucks big time BB. I read the original post and it was far from an ad. He merely mentioned that she would be in Buffalo next week with a friend. We discuss members that are banned all the time. We talk about their reviews and WTF they did to get banned. We talk about ladies that have left and we post when we hear they are coming back. Seems to me to be the same thing. Reviews of banned providers are still available and the information is still all there. So why only in this instance?

AJ I am not taking to task the ban. If there was reason enough to ban her then so be it. Makes no difference to me if she advertises or any one advertises for her or not. I have never seen her. Just pointing out that again selective moderating is what causes a lot of the problems. I know it is not going to change. Been here since the day ASPD was born.
Just pointing out that a lot of discussions take place about banned people and banned peoples activities and then because this one generated a lot of discussion BOOM, moderator wakes up and pushes the button. And your right, nursery school teachers are the bitchiest. I know that from real life experience.

FlyboyNY...if you think there are posts that should be brought to the attention of the mods..and or the mods have over looked them..you can always rtm them..that way..any and all mods can look at them and make the adjustments that need to be made. Folks can discussed the banned individual (s) as much as they like, however when someone starts posting blatent ads for them at their requests..then thats when things happen..things that some may not agree with..and then if they dont, you, they have an oppertunity to apply to become a mod and "change" things...plyting to me won't change things..however, you can send a pm to admin or st c and they and he will read the pm and reply or make changes. By the by..I also was a member of aspd...this site..is not aspd..its eccie..im not trying to be "bitchy" however youll take this response and file it where you may..regardless ..btw..you cant fault a nursery school employee,teacher,worker for trying to instill whts right if the parental never taught them or enforced proper behavior from the start..

That is my point AJ. The mods have overlooked many but I would hope not because they did not see them. I moderate two boards in my profession and all the posts are read by a mod or administrator. And before someone goes off on the volunteer thing it doesn't hold water. The job is the job.
As far as being a mod I asked 3 times over the years and was not chosen. So be it. The owners have a right to choose who they want. As you know if you follow the board (and I know you do) I am not one who bitches much or tries to stir up trouble. Just calling bullshit when I see it. IMHO
As far as the Nursery school reference. Believe me I have first hand experience. My SO owns one. Hence why I and some of the other guys of her employees are here.

well before you jump on bb about things. he was doing his job. the threAD was rtm by me and i am sure others. it clearly a threAD no matter how you pussy foot around it. xhooker that is banned as board member to post an ad for them, giving where and when they are going. it is black and white. i am sorry but ignorance on this situation carries no water. if one thinks so then they are truly clueless. it is same situation as if some one on unemployment gets thrown in jail. they legally can not claim their benefits because they are in jail. but they call a friend to claim their unemployment benefits for them. is that legal? you think the courts will say "oh you didn't know any better"? it is just common sense. the court would tell the person "well we will put you in a cell next to them and you can discuss it with the person." so no it was not selective modding. he was just responding to an rtm and he took the right action. god i never thought i would be defending a mod, well unless it was aj. i just could not sit by and watch this one become a train wreck for bb doing the right thing.
