Default Confessions of an "ink-ist"

"Getting inked" seems to be an ever more prevalent in our society. I just don't understand it. A single tattoo, or a few smaller ones, are detractors for me. Not necessarily deal-breakers, but detractors. Tattoos which cover most/whole limbs are a deal-breaker.

IMO, a woman who has a fit body is like a Mona Lisa, she is a work of art, a masterpiece, the epitome of sexual attractiveness, honed by 10,000 generations of evolution. Putting a tattoo on her is like tagging the Mona Lisa. And as a person ages, that tattoo is just going to look ever more foolish -- using the masterpiece/art analogy -- its like tagging Whistler's Mother. "Eeewww!"

There is one provider in particular, I will just designate as "L" who, from her ads, photos, etc., I find to have extraordinarily attractive features, in terms of face, hair, vital stats, etc. But she has a mass of ink on her body that I just cannot get past.

Does that make me an "Ink-ist"..?

I have seen plenty of providers that have tats. I have never complained about them, but I wish they did not have them. My point, just because no one complains, does not indicate that we;
A) Like them
B) Don't mind

But, that is just my .02

Tats are great, depending on what they are and who they are on. Your tats look awesome! I think, tats are those kinda things you wouldn't want your daughter getting, but seeing one on a hot chick gets you going!!!

Some are attractive, some are not but in my experience once the game starts Idon't notice them and they done't matter either way. I have gone from thinking they are really hot to not even noticing them any more.

(Up Scope)

Short answer, yes they do to many guys. Especially non-discrete ones that show outside clothing, or are on the breasts.

The fact is, to many old farts like myself, if it can be seen during sex it is a distraction.

DISCLAIMER
Note, that this is MY problem/preference (relative I guess), and not a reflection on anyone who choses to have tats, I make no judgments about the person. However, I do have preferences and I made my hobby decisions accordingly.

I do not personally care for tats, but do not mind those done tastefully. However, it appears to me that most are "lemmings" in that they get tats more to fit in then in giving much thought as to meaning and such.

I saw something somewhere that said that a lot of symbols (i.e. Chinese) did not really mean what they were offered up as meaning, but that people thought that they were "cool looking". Do not know if this is really true, but wouldn't that really suck to walk around thinking you had the symbols for something tough, like a Dragon or Tiger, but in reality it meant wimpy ass-munch?

I spent 20 plus years in the Navy and have no tats. (I know, shocker right?) The reason for this is during boot camp training this old rough looking cursing retired Senior Chief Signalman instructor who had these blue-black blobs on both forearms asked who was thinking about getting a tattoo. Of course being squids, most raised their hand. He then pointed to those blobs and said don't. He had back in WWII gotten a scantily clad lady tattooed on each forearm, and over the years they blurred and faded into blobs. Plus, he said that once he had kids and became active in kid things such as scouts, PTA, church, etc. that they became big liabilities. Even after retiring from the service and looking for a job. He also said that all things sag stretch and winkle as we age, and that the tattoo goes from something nicely done to something out of a fun house mirror! Had a big impact on me.

Knew a few people in service who later regretted the tats from earlier in life and had them removed, which the services now offer. I also know a girl, good friends with and dated her and have known her since she was 18. She danced for a few years, got a couple of tats, but since having her daughter now wishes she could remove them (mostly the playboy bunny one).

So, in a round about and long winded way, my preference is without tats, but generally they are not a show stopper to me as long as tasteful and in moderation. I find that they tend to be a great icebreaker and conversation piece to help get comfortable. Your tattoos appear to be nicely done, and would not prevent me from visiting you.

My apologies on the long windy post!

Art can never be interpreted as a damn pimp brand and there are many pimps in the Dallas area who brand their stock like cattle and many of those girls fear ever removing said brand.

I'm sure that if a thread was started here in Coed we could begin to post images and associated pimps who own said brands but that might be considered offensive to some working girls to have that out there for all to see.

Typically, a large script "ghetto" type name on the top side of a boob screams pimp.

Tasteful art, flowers may be fine But the oh so common stars or even worse, the "everyone has it" Chinese characters look repugnant. Does everyone recall when Pamela Anderson had the barbed wire on her arm tat and every wanna be that thought they were hot ran right out and got that too.

I've seen hundreds, if not thousands of tats and there are very few women who wear large tats well and look tasteful with them. I hate to say that way too many girls and guys get drunk, stumble in a tattoo parlor and get a crappy tat for cheap and then keep going back making it even worse.

It's an industry that doesn't really require any talent to work in. Consider how many prisoners get home made tats! THOSE have to be the worst.

A friend actually dated a gal fresh out of jail for 5 years who served almost the entire term and when I met her I was shocked at how badly they did tats in jail but hey, I've seen some that went to a pro that were just as bad.

Tattoos are pretty permanent. All i can suggest is to not do it on an impulse. Look around and find a good artist and check out their actual work in detail before letting him near your skin.

Unless of course you want to look like a branded pimped out piece of property that just got out of prison then have at it.

Everyone has their own tastes. I know some banker/conservative gents that enjoy a romp with a tatted up wildcat like the beautiful Lisa Love. To each their own. I have no tattoos or piercings but more power to the gents that like that.

Artistic tats are great, but I'm not a fan of multiple tats with different themes. Your's look great I can't wait to see you in person

Tattoos - generally a turn off for me - but there are exceptions - you seem to sport them well, definitely an artistic thing - all about the bod, the skin, the style, and the woman

I joke about - i've done doggie with a gal so many times and she has a small tattoo on her lower back - but the view and action is so fyyyyyne - I keep saying - I've never seen your tattoo.

so many factors and all about the lady... I know this post clears it all up... LOL
