Why is everyone worried? BBFS is perfectly safe and acceptable, isn't it?

Yes, I said I've wondered for a while and I have several reasons for NOT asking until now. The chief reason being that some hobbyists will say that I'm jealous of younger providers or I'm mental or something. I'm definitely not jealous of anyone. I might be slightly mental but that's beside the point. There other reasons are centered around the delicacy of this subject.

When a hobbyist suspects that a provider has a communicable disease, no matter what the rules say, y'all talk about it. I've never seen an outright thread accusing a provider of having murder herpes (fictional strain of herpes). But surely, it's discussed in hushed tones in the back somewhere.

But what if a provider knows for a fact that another provider,( we'll call her Murder Herpes Mary) , has an STD? Let's say that MHM not only has at least one std but is aware of it and takes no precautions to prevent/limit transmission? What if she doesn't require her clients use protection because in her words, she doesn't want them to think that something is wrong? What if, and I do mean this, what if she has something that's curable but won't take her meds for whatever fucked up, bullshit reason?

The health department states that if a client engages in "that kind" of activity, he basically deserves what he gets. So my question to the community is this. What is the correct course of action? A post? A few well placed informative conversations to the more gossipy members? Putting a provider on "the blast" isn't productive. Especially if MHM isn't a member where "the blast" is written.

I know, we're all outraged of course and I'm not remotely alluding to knowing who may have given anyone herpes. This truly is a separate thread. I do want to hear what you all think. What are your ideas? Solutions? Suggestions? Jokes? We all want to be safe.
Yes please pm me as well. I like to make informed

So when you say Herpes.... Dharma, I assume you mean Herpes Simplex 2 HSV-2 which is genital and NOT HSV-1 which is cold sores and in 80-85% of the population.
Please PM me as well.

Dharma, thank you for discussing a very touchy subject. If you are providing the information via PM I would like to know was well.

Also note, HSV1 is not only oral, it can be genital.

True story:

My sister was a mega-slut during her high school years and was diagnosed with herpes when she was 18 years old. She is now 34 and it has been dormant for a few years, she thinks it's magically gone. She has never told any of her sexual partners, and to her knowledge, she has never spread it. She is now married and her husband knows nothing about her herpes, but eventually it will reappear and she will have to explain everything.

People are selfish assholes.

I want to thank everyone for such a positive response to this thread. You've all been really kind. You've asked intelligent questions, had informative comments and didn't turn this into a witch hunt. I am still responding to pm's, text messages and emails. If you don't hear from me right away, be patient. I'm doing this in between my work day and my regular life

Just my two pennies but if you are set on giving this info out to everyone who ask then why not write it out once and be done?
Obviously you can't type it out here but if it was a post to your twitter, tublr, yahoo, etc site then it would be done. Lots of people use these extra areas, links in signatures make it easy to find/view blah blah blah ...just saying seems it would easier and more efficient than replying to every message.

Because people ask for different information. Because they may ask "who" but they also have other things to communicate. Because I'd rather keep it in one place. I'm not a fan of uncontrolled information all over the net. Replying to every message may take longer, but I prefer it.

Thank you, though. If I had just one thing to communicate to many people, your suggestion is a good idea.
