I think this post is something almost everyone (minus the obvious person) would agree on. I disagree with the open lecture threads like this and I tend to think the girl sets the tone for the response of the guy.

I think it is pretty obvious it is silly for most men to argue with a woman about their cycle unless it is a Doctor who has studied the subject (more than having access to google.com).

This wasn't a discussion thread really...
More of an informative one because, yes you men don't know about our bodies... and I was just providing insight.

Well if you want to be accurate I have/had: Fifty-Two (52) reviews & Eleven Thousand Three Hundred post. Plus only a complete man-whore would write a review on every piece of strange. Greatest Old School Review EVER!!!

Well, it just so happens that I'm a Doctor. (A Witch Doctor, but a Doctor nonetheless).

I was just going to chime in l to say what a turn-on it is to hear Ember talk about her cookie...but, I digress.

I've had it happen to me more times than I'd like to admit. And I understand that it's a natural occurrence and that different types of bc have effect women differently and all that. I get it. Really, I do.

However, I had been seeing this gal regularly for almost a year, and you could almost ser your watch to her cycle. What really sucked was that she lived in Hou. and me in SA.
Anyway we'd plan to get together and I'd just make a weekend business trip out of it. I'd book a suite at a very nice hotel, arrive Sat. early eve., spend Sat.-Sun. with her, tend to business Monday and then head back after. It was all great...except for a couple of times when I was driving over to Hou. to start the much anticipated meeting, and received, 'the call'..informing me of the dreaded visiting Aunt had arrived unexpectdly. (Pac Man dying sound).
I was disappointed, sure, but went ahead with the plans and just made the best of the situation .

Now spotting is one thing. But this was well beyond any of that...

This happened again about a month later....hmmm.?
When I got home, I happened to look at the calendar and then recalled the previous episode...well, needless to say, I adjusted my travel plans accordingly.

Point being, I would like to believe that the Aunt visits were totally unexpected, and being that I never did bring the matter up with her again, I just found it a little peculiar that I knew when she was going to have a visit better than she.

So while I agree that women are all different with regard to their cycles and bc, and what not. There are some that are so consistently regular that it's remarkable.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you happen to be fortunate to have regular cycles, please try to take this into consideration when scheduling your appointments. Nobody likes surprises and it might help avoid an uncomfortable situation. Things happen, yes. But if it can be avoided, or if you forewarn the other of the possibility, it's just better for all involved

SPOILER ALERT: The last portion of this post just might gross some folks out. Apologies in advance.

This has been a very interesting thread, and I've been surprised by some of the responses, but enjoyed the different perspective. Honestly, I expected more of an anti-working on the period response that I've seen, so I guess I'm going to be the contrarian here and throw out my two cents here. Apologies to the sisterhood, but I just don't agree that it is OK to throw a sponge up the vajayjay and keep going like its no big deal.

I'm all for truth in advertising in all forms. Whether it is the age and weight stats, recent and accurate pics, or menu availability, the goods delivered should be exactly as advertised and expected.

Based on the responses so far, it is clear that some men aren't deterred by the monthly event. But there is no doubt that others are. Since you don't know whether the guy you are about to see is OK with a red DATY experience or not, it is fair to him to tell him before you book and let him decide. That's truth in advertising. If you can't bring yourself to say "by the way, the river is running, but don't worry, I can use a sponge" before you take the appointment, then don't take the appointment.

Now, I will qualify that by saying that I am not here to tell other women how to run their business. I've said many times that what I love best about escorting is that I get to make my own rules, and that holds true for every other provider as well. But this is where the reviews come in. If a provider wants to continue working on her period, that is her business. Just don't act shocked or offended when the inevitable sponge slip happens, and you get a bad review because of it. Services weren't as advertised, the dude was grossed out, he wrote it up in his review. Get over it. That is the risk you run by working on your period.

Yes, periods do show up unannounced. And Ember you are actually correct. Intercourse can jump start a period 1-2 days earlier than anticipated. So make allowances for it. You know your cycle, so you know when the "red zone" starts, the 2 days before your expected start, and know that an appointment on those days can start things early.

For a different perspective, I once had an appointment where the guy asked to cum on my tits. He spooged, and I excused myself to the bathroom to clean up. When I turned on the light in the bathroom, I almost threw up. His spooge was almost 100% bloody. I vomit in my mouth, clean up, then went and told him he needed to see a doctor right away. He shrugged like it was no big deal and said "Oh, I just had a prostate biopsy, the doctor said that might happen".

REALLY? You fucking piece of shit. You KNEW your spooge was going to be bloody due to a medical procedure and you stuck your bloody dick in my mouth anyways??? I was.....FUCKING......FURIOUS, and rightly so. Not surprisingly, when I posted an alert about him, I got a slew of responses from providers who were similarly outraged. Yet many of the providers who shared my outrage think nothing of using a sponge to cover up the fact that they themselves bleed right through appointments each month.

Ember, I hope you don't take my post as a direct attack on your original post. It is not intended to be. I did note that you mentioned that you don't allow DATY at all, so much of what I just said doesn't apply to you. Intercourse with a condom on a period really isn't that different from any other time of the month. Its when a woman works through a period and allows DATY that I think she should be honest with the guy beforehand. If a provider is grossed out at the idea of sucking a bare cock as in the above example, she should re-think her willingness to let a guy go down on her during her period without telling the guy first.

Damn another post that implies that providers either have access to ROS in reviews or WKs telling them about it.

I'm shocked, just shocked, that this could happen.

I definitely agree with what you said sins.. I do use sponges, but only in the couple days before my period so it will be there just in case it starts early. I would be pissed if I went down on a girl and didn't know she was on her period.. I understand if it was an unexpected one its not really the girls fault, but if you know you are on your period you should make your client aware before the appointment is booked.

Does the sponge help from getting an STD or Pregnant, if the condom breaks, or if the provider does BB services?

No the sponge does not protect against std's. it can lessen but not prevent a chance of pregnancy. The protection it provides against pregnancy is minimal but every little bit helps. I have been known to use a sponge when I ovulate as well as a actual condom (in my personal life of course. )

To the point of the woman who posted... that a NO review should not be written.

Of course it should... the point of this site is to exchange information about Providers... an ancillary purpose is to allow providers to share information about clients... its an exchange. I would say your business, like this site is also client driven...

To that extent, you can write a NO review for any reason, the ROS will probably point out why, "she started her period and I grossed out..." or "she stuck in this sponge and I hit it with my massive organ..." whatever... people will see WHY in the ROS, which is part of being a premium member. If you see a no review and can't get the ROS... well that's just how EVERY review works, and people have many reasons why they give NO recommendations that are just as crappy.

But that's their right, and no amount of anything in this thread can change that. No I understand you are trying to educate folks. Fair enough, but to say it never should, is a bit extreme and creates a false dichotomy, people can choose to inform however they choose. It's the beauty of this site.

Even your opinion informs folks... educates some, turns some off, turns some on, information is it's own purpose sometimes.

Regardless, I disagree with your main point, but if you want to persuade so be it. Personally, if it started while I was with you and you didn't know, that happens. However, if you are ON your period and you didn't allow me the opportunity to pull out in advance, or NC/NS'd me in the powder room after I was informed and withdrew my consent, I don't think that's fair either. However, I'm sure you could say the same

I do have a solution for

So some of the Providers can see or read the ROS, is that what I'm reading now. I can't even read the ROS, how can they. Doesn't the site have some kind of checks and balance in place. If not; it would be hard to write reviews and not piss off a provider if the service was bad. What is a WK?
So before I write a review, should the provider approve it first, is that a rule or a guideline on here.

Next time a provider uses the "it's natural, I dunno when it's gonna happen" line, i'll use the same when I squirt a load right in their eye....hey, it just happened don't whine about it being gross, it's a natural bodily function.

HMmmmm... I could have probably been more specific when explaining my informative post....
Regular periods do certainly happen and usually when a girl is NOT on birth control. But when a woman is on Birth control, it FUCKS up our bodies and they are hardly ever regular. aka... not knowing when they will start.

And all of you concerned about us providers being able to see the ROS.... the review was titled "BLOODY ______ (name of provider)"
With tons of comments from men saying "OH MY GOSH GROSS" all comments I saw were public.... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the girl started her period on the dude.

But as I see that this thread seems to be slipping away from what I initially started it about, i'll be digressing from the convo....
This was about when I provider doesn't realize she is going to start.. and it happens on accident on a guy....
Not a thread on if she already knew... if she KNEW she was on it and it happened... well then yeah, she is dumb and she should have made precautions.
