Let me give you the bottom line -- you missed the point. We know all this but we don't care. Deal with it.

This is not an appropriate venue to showcase the military. Many patriots (secret code word to describe white racists, white supremacists, neo-confederates, neo-nazis and white separatists collectively) just don't seem to get it.

FYI, the 4th of July is all about politics, and celebrating the political separation of this country from Britain with a written declaration of independence backed up with the force of arms.

This here thread is about Trump’s penis showing game.
And he’s gonna show the world what a real mushroom cloud looks like!
Sad. I was hoping for baseball, hot dogs, etc.

It was your comment about the Cold War that was being addressed.

... when you pretend to know to what "local residents" know or think ("look forward") are you talking about the "local residents" of Washington D.C.?
Can you name one "Federal Holiday" that is "NON-POLITICAL"?
Quote:
Dates of Federal Holidays for 2019
Tuesday, January 1 - New Year's Day.
Monday, January 21 - Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Monday, February 18 - Washington's Birthday.
Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day.
Thursday, July 4 - Independence Day.
Monday, September 2 - Labor Day.
Monday, October 14 - Columbus Day.
|
Even New Year's Day has morphed into a "political" day, since Trump was elected .... with the whining about another year of Trump!!!!!!!!
The childishness of the losers is laughable, if not disgustingly sad!
There are two kinds of "residents" of D.C. .....
... political and welfare recipients who can't leave.
That's why the place is called a "Swamp"!

If Trump wanted to have a parade of soldiers costumed circa 1776 with horse-drawn cannons, I could understand it.
That’s not what he’s doing.
He’s waving his dick at the rest of the world.
Poor form. Low class. Trump.

It's hard to see the few positive things 45 has done because of the yuge volume of negative things he has done. True, most liberals are appalled by the things that 45 has done like campaigning divisive platform, gaining a cess to the highest office in the land with the help of a hostile foreign nation, undermining the American Intelligence community while offering aid and comfort to the dictators of hostile nations, inciting violence and racial division at political rallies, using his office for profit and doubling down on over 10,000 easily refutable outright lies and half-truths.
Now 45 has the audacity to politize a public holiday as a political rally at the expense of taxpayers while DOJ lawyers argue that soap and toothpaste is not necessary to maintain hygienic conditions in concentration camps holding asylum seekers. This is not a good look on the global stage of diplomacy, and demonstrates 45's lack of compassion, empathy and emotional intelligence.
No, I will stand behind this corrupt dysfuctional, traitorous and illegitimate administration that rebukes congressional oversight and the Supreme Court. Nor will I blindly support this alledged racist, pedofile, misogynistic rapist who embraces dictators and is indifferent to the plight of global citizens who suffer needlessly as an undesirable consequence of American foreign policy. On the other hand, the white separatists, white nationalists, neo-confederates, neo-Nazis and other haters of positive social change, equal rights and constitutional due process constitute 45's base and support this alledged traitorous and illegitimate President.
Why would any rational, critically thinking individual support a corrupt, traitorous and illegitmate draft dodging President whose policies are detrimental to the Republic and life threatening to citizens and residents?

A "critically thinking individual" wouldn't listen to the bullshit narrative you've swallowed and compounded by embarrassing yourself by repeating it in public.

.. because you'd whine and bitch about him making fun of our FIRST CLASS MILITARY by having them dress up like clowns in a manner that would marginalize and minimize them to the world.
Incidentally, have you mastered Thong Removal 101 yet?

There's little doubt that the Old Guard's Drum and Fife Corps will play some role in today's events.

Why do y'all have to cuss so much? Furthermore, I would suggest that word "Liberal" does not mean what you think it means or you and those of your ilk would not bandy it about so much. Now since YOU brought it up...have no worries. I am not coming for YOUR mother!
