I'll pitch in a extra $100 a month if they would fit you with a working brain.

Do you not know what the word "insurrectionist" means?

The Tea Party is a political movement. They hold rallies and marches and throw their support behind certain candidates. They oppose expansion of certain government programs (e.g., Obamacare), but preservation of others (e.g., their Medicare). They tend to oppose government control and monitoring (e.g., the NSA, and FBI and IRS meddling).

That's not violent rebellion. That's politics, even if you don't agree with it.

If the Tea Party qualifies as insurrectionists, then so does MoveOn and other left wing outfits.

And "states rights" people? What does that mean? Perhaps you are referring to people in Colorado who voted to legalize marijuana in opposition to federal policies? Are they "white insurrectionists"? What about people who want to get rid of the Department of Education and let primary education remain under state control? Are they "white insurrectionists"?

Like I said, lemme know when you see a "white insurrectionist". He or she will be shooting at federal agents or troops. Should be easy to spot. Especially at a Tea Party rally full of blue-haired seniors.

BTW, do you worship at the altar of federal power? Or do you just have a job that is dependent on federal money?

Amusing, because that's exactly what drug dealers, bank robbers and organized crime figures tell the feds too. Is that a source of admiration for you as well?

Ah, that head injury. Explains a lot. What is missing, your cerebral cortex? You know.... that part of your brain that plays a key role in memory, attention, perceptual awareness, thought, language and consciousness? What happened? Did your head get shocked during your service as an electrician on a boat?

I understand - I didn't intend it that way. I intended for it to mean respect for your sacrifices. I don't intend to be impolite to those who sincerely oppose my politics, and I think it is safe to assume that you are sincere in your beliefs. I can tell by the way you post you are pro-American, just from the right, not the left.

I'm saying they would revolt if they thought it would succeed or if they could secede. They would get violent, too. They are just smart enough to not admit it at this time - most of them. I have a business that depends on Federal programs, good guess. I would be a liberal on social issues, anyway. If the South rises again, I'm out of business but I'd just start another business doing something else. Are you totally dependent on the private sector?

You could say the same thing about a lot of political factions, not just the Tea Party.

The main problem for the leftist political factions, however, is that most of them are of the moocher variety. If they seceded and started their own country, who would they mooch from?

Their "loyalty" to the United States is only as good as the handouts they get.

I don't know if "dependent" is the right word for working with private sector clients.

You can be dependent on the government because they are the only game in town in a lot of sectors. It's not like you can get work from a different federal or state government if you don't like the one you are working with.

In the private sector, however, you can replace bad clients (especially non-paying or slow paying ones) with better clients.

I don't regard having options as "dependence". I regard that as leverage.

Not even close, the above hide in the shadows and break the law. Coloradoans proudly tell the government how stupid they are, what they are going to do, and they pass laws accordingly that apply to their state. I would say Coloradoans are much more closely aligned to the criminals (your opinion) that founded our country when the Brits tried to overstep their authority and infringed upon their liberty.

ExNyer, you call them "moochers"; I prefer to think of them as "historically disadvantaged and shut out of the power structure and its attendant opportunities".

So, the California state employees that are members of CALPERS and are looking for federal bailouts to save their bloated pensions and benefits are "historically disadvantaged" how?

And as government employees, they ARE the power structure - or at least part of it. So, what exactly were they shut out of and how?

I have similar questions about General Motors, Chrysler, and the UAW. Who "historically disadvantaged" them? Nissan? And what was the "power structure" they were shut out of? Customers?

Fill me in.

To put this stupidity to rest, it was my knee, my right knee. The knee cap is now made of man made materials. If I tell you how it happened then you would look me up and I don't trust some of you pieces of shit.
