5. You must to be able to verify everyone you invite and get a definite guest list.
The rest is easy.

Holding a big hobby social looks like a PITA and is a huge security risk. Unless the organizer knows everyone personally (and I mean personally, as in Real Life, not via the board) it's trivial for someone uninvited to sneak in. And then it's just a matter of time before someone does something stupid.
Much better were the old-school socials that were never advertised in public, had a very selective guest list, and were actually about socializing, as opposed to marketing. They were fun, enabled folks to get to know each other well, and had essentially no risk for the parties involved.

I like the idea
who ever plans this event please let me know.....reminds me of my first friends I met in Houston about 10 years ago that turned me out. Jon and Cindy. Are they still around? I worked at Escape 1 and Amazing :-) We used to plan social gatherings and xmas parties all the time!

You stopped going/getting invites when they seized giving out free "hummers".

Opinion or fact? You did state is as a fact. Glad to see you know a whole lot about blowpop.
Unless you attended some of the socials back in 1999-2001, you really don't have a clue what you're talking about.
............just more shit talking from dg. All noise and no substance.

Very weak, but that was expected.
If you're trying to pinch hit for wakeup while he's gone, you're failing miserably.
