Texas all cause mortality is approximately 500 per day, so 18 deaths (like we had last night for COVID-19, which originated in Wuhan, China) is pretty low on the scale of things.

I would be willing to bet more gay people got aids last night than COVID - 19.

On a normal weekend, more than 18 people likely get shot in Chicago.

I'm not believing the fatality numbers. Some days have HUGE jumps. Almost all people in Houston are wearing the almighty mask and have been for months. I'm also starting to see the word "estimated" a lot.
