PS...Not every provider asks for personal information; I only ask for real world info in the event that someone is a newbie or I am not able to verify them due to their references being old or unverifiable.

Anyone giving out their RL information to anyone on here, fucktard, hooktard, modtard, admintard, ownertard etc. assumes a risk. They need to know the players to a certain extent to make a decision on weighing that risk.
At this point I don't trust any 'tards. It doesn't appear that the security of my information or that of anyone else has been taken seriously by any of them. Thankfully, for me, I'm pretty well insulated. Others not so much.

Let's say you screen a newbie, get his employment info and call to verify. He checks out and it's all good. Next hooktard calls you for a reference and you explain what happened, she calls under the guise of a credit check. Then she posts his info on infoshare. Now every provider that has access, now has access to his employment info. Not your fault, you were only screening.
But still.... It's out there.
