Older white guy chiming in. What I dont get about all of this is the medium we are all using... compter web-based information at our finger tips. When I want to know about a provider, I can usually find what I am looking for. If what I find appeals to me I make contact. If what I find doesnt appeal, or none is to be found, I move on. This is the hobbyists perspective.

From the provider's perspective, it is still the same. They can easily google my handle and see numerous reviews. They can easily contact any of the providers I have reviewed to find out about me. It is all sooo easy. So it mystifies me when a provider cannot see that many AA clients here have stellar reputations. Obviously these are not thugs, pimps, or someone you should avoid. Even the BP providers can see the basic info of the reviews, so they too have the ability to find diamonds in the rough, regardless of race.

I do understand the idea of personal preference. I have them, as we all do, but still I have seen providers outside my norm, simply because, why not? The reviews helped guide me, so I don't see that as much of an excuse, and certainly is no excuse for blanket statements or policy.

When I was a younger man, computers were huge and had less computing power than the phones we use today. Many of todays providers have grown up never knowing a time when computer information was not available, and so they are likely more computer sophisticated than myself. There really is no excuse for not recognizing the reputable clients from the bad, and seeing them irrespective of race.

Well I think we are all missing some of the other issues that follow the AA males of Louisiana. Currently accurate estimates of 77% of the HIV population in BR alone are AA males. If you want to play the odds game considering most guys want BBBJ and many try for even more ridiculous limits, I think that a provider would be one hell of a gambler seeing very many AA males at all. Call it racism if you wish, but if the choice is dead or called a racist, color me racist.

Every time someone bring this up, a bunch of "pat on the back" white folk (yes we minorities know this and laugh at you when you do this) want to sling the race card, bottom line is that if you do 30 mins of research just on eccie alone you would find that the huge majority of issues and alerts directed towards clients are directed towards an AA male. I agree some providers are just plain racist, or their pimp fears losing his hoe to another pimp, but we cant ignore the facts here and honestly seeing the same providers jump on this issue proclaiming anyone who doesn't see AA men is racist and how they have huge love for the dark man is really annoying, yes you need all the work you can get, you have shown this over and over, thank you! I bet not a damn one is married to an AA male or ever been in a LTR with an AA male, so please lay it down!

I think the OP's intentions are merely to say "Hey fellow AA gents out there...get your shit together so us good guys don't have to suffer for the bad." Easy peasy. No need for stats or calling in teams of specialists to prove the black guys are dangerous *insert dramatic finger wiggling*

Some providers proclaim their love for the dark meat, others shy away from it. it may not be desireable, but at the end of the day it contributes to the variety of life. Some girls should screen better. Some guys act like losers. We know this. So AA guys out there, keep your heads up. You reputations already proceed you, and there are a ton of providers--black, white, and purple--that will graciously see you when others will not.

We have pictures so we know if the girl at the door is the girl associated with a handle. All eccie does for providers is show who we saw. They can contact them and get a description, but it is still very much a game of Russian roulette for the ladies. I like to get drunk and tell people I am anything from a US senator to (let your imagination fill in the rest).

And forgive me for being offended for trying to support people on this board. Just because I am white and am taking the side of some AA hobbyists here. The AA guys on this board, particularly the ones who have written in this thread, they all are reputable guys. They dont have HIV or are adding to the stats you throw around. Any provider with any computer saavy can see this. If the client is unproven, with no references, that is one thing, but that is regardless of race too. The people here,, if anyone were spreading HIV, it would be apparent quickly, again irrespective of race.

Sad but true. There's a ton a shady shit in these Eccie trees. But this is why good providers stay informed, and support each other. A girl has to do whatever she has to do to make herself feel comfortable

Um not it wouldn't......results can not show up for up to seven years if tested. And not too many providers are gonna walk hand in hand with you to a clinic to prove otherwise. Shit they have a new oraquick mouth swab HIV test you can buy at a drugstore now that many if asked wouldn't use just on the prospect they know they might be infected.....why hurt their business right.

And even if a hobbyist and or a provider was found to have HIV......just like in the past on other boards.....all the reviews and reviewers would be deleted and points would be issued for mentioning it. You might hear about it through rumor.........but there no assurance of it. Protect yourself but let's be realistic.

There are shitty individuals, and Gentlemen. I have learned that ethnicity is not the deciding factor. No more than wealth or education. It's about the character of the individual.

A disrespectful ass hole can manifest from any race or culture.

Also a gentleman can manifest from any race or culture.

Safety is a concern for most of us, even the gents, you guys no more want to get ripped off or messed over than the ladies do. Screening is not an end all be all, but required, on both sides.
