He has 2 different types of references, apparently. 1 excellent reference from a well-established, reliable provider that I've known for years, and a questionable situation with an unestablished new girl. I know who's reference I'm going with.
I'm not sure who you're referring to as an alcoholic or desperate?
I would & do plan to see him, but I don't have any availability for a couple of days. I'm booked solid. And I need to schedule a break, too. I might just go over to SNL's for some downtime and tie one on. Cheers!

Too much unresolved here, but right now if looks as if a new fellow just made a mistake. Do we really want prospective ECCIE members thinking that it's "okay" to post their pm's in public? No site will survive without a continuing influx of new blood, so if we piss off people who are contemplating joining us by demonstrating that they will be intolerantly raked over the coals publicly for a simple error....
I'd sure stay clear of this site if I thought I'd never have any privacy protection whatsoever.

Why would SNL feel any backlash? She did not PM someone in error. Nor did she post the PM in open forum. Nor was she a modtard that failed to recognize an error and let the info sit out there all day. At least I don't thinck is devolved into modtard status.

A couple of points here.
First, mods don't always have computer access. It's not a paying job and we all don't sit by the computer waiting for something to happen.
Second, based on the all the naysayers and those without a sense of humor understanding the OP poking fun at an obvious mistake I'm certain the thread has been reported. I haven't taken the time to go check. IF this was so damn serious, other mods who were around would have removed it, fixed it, or commented and my inbox would have been full of reprimands from admin.
Third, I have sent a pm to mhay.
Fourth, Sydney aptly pointed out, there may be going on behind the scenes than any of the visiting posters have a clue about.
