These types of issues are always harder when it's with someone you've known for a long time. I think you made the right decision. I can relate to having long hair, my problem is the time it takes to actually dry it after a shower.

oh yes..after a shower in the summer i let my hair air dry its just too much to blow it dry..it takes longer to work it out.....winter..takes a good 30 minutes to blow dry and thats if i don't blow the dryer out..I go through at least 2 dryers a winter...then..i get to roll it up..that in itself takes at least an hour to take the curl..my hair is as straight as a board and takes time to take the curl..
its just sad for me that i had to let him go..he really was just sooo sweet..i did adore him..he really was one of my true blue "regulars" ...and i really enjoyed his company...i will miss him....

Sorry to hear that Anita. Big hug for you. Don't know about the interior-exterior thing. Men may be more interior than you think. Problem is we often think we're too macho to show it.

I love just got out of bed hair on a women. But they seem to hate me when I say it. Took a provider that I see to the doctors today. On the way I could see the grey roots. I asked If I was dying her hair this weekend. After she hit me called me a asshole. She told me yup at your normal rate plus the ride. Thank you passenger minor on the visor.

jack...im not sure exactly what...all i could do was calm him down and i thought i had because he had no problems calling me and telling me he was confirming our visit together... i dont know...sometimes those good guys fall off the wagon...

Anita, after 5 years you would think he wouldn't treat you this way. Sometimes the best thing you can do is put your foot down and show people you won't tolerate any BS anymore. Once people realize you won't put up with nonsense, they come around and get their act together. It's too bad he had to lose you in the process. However, it does sound like this man may have a very real anxiety disorder. I don't know.

seems sometimes in a smaller city they have a certain type of lady they like..
i dont seem to be fittin that bill...

which kinda makes me laugh since this is new york and all....anyone is supposed to make it here...

I gotta do what what I gotta do to make the rent and fill the lunchboxes...sad cuz my rent is very good..

sad for me ..since ive come to adore this city and the city's surrounding me..my recent
recant on visiting buff really kinda enforced this thought process...

what cracks me up really..is when a guy says..your on my fav list..and i find out later..im last listed under 13 provider s
that havent been in the biz for years and thats under the list of all the 45 providers here on this board...
and i havent heard from this gent in over a year..i feel just so special..thanks ya'll...

Don't allow your recent canceled trip to get you down. Go with the pre books and if the pre books aren't there - just set a new date.

You are a valuable provider in this area - and although it gets tough - well you know already this is the toughest career and lifestyle a woman might have.

As for the ATF who gets bumped:
I personally believe it is because people know we are solid providers and very nice to boot so I think some hobbyists place us on the back burner and forget to pull us to the front - within our preferred time frame- that would keep them one of our ATFs.
