BB, your response was one of the classiest displays of substantial character I've seen lately, along with the recent grace in baseball (which I ordinarily could care less about) accompanying the bad call that cost the pitcher a perfect game.

Thank you for it. If I lived in Austin I'd be trying to meet you just because of your graceful handling of this matter. But I stays in Houston.

You'll be fine.

I almost never make a decision over one review-- favorable or unfavorable.

IMHO a reply (any reply) to a review can only create a negative. A response keeps the topic visible much longer. It is almost always slant too far to be believable.

Often I think it is just a misunderstanding due to semantics.

Hey Brit, don't sweat it. You are awesome IMHO. We have seen each other once and had an awesome time. I look forward to our next encounter.

This seems like a different stokes for different folks thing. I think the exchange here has been a fine example of taking the high road.

Even though that is true, being able to clarify a problem and address it head on clears any doubt others may have. One credible negative review can give the impression that a provider is YMMV, especially in cases where the positive reviews aren't strong.....not to say that's how it was in this case.

It's good that BB brought this up.

Brit,

As many have said already, thank you for handling this like a grown-up and not lashing out as many would. That shows more for your maturity and how you handle this business.

As for pictures and stats, keeping them updated would be the best thing. It seems that most of the negative side of the reviews stem from expectations set before being face to face. That can be mitigated through clear, up-to-date, and upfront information.

One of the things that I have complained about pictures posted by providers is bad quality (cell phone) pictures, or badly uploaded pictures (like when you click on a thumbnail to see the bigger picture, the same 'thumbnail' comes up as the full photo). I have seen and posted cell phone pictures that are high quality, such as those from most current smartphones.

Even though photo shoot pictures might not be touched up, they are presented in best lighting, make-up, setting. Those are unlikely factors to line up for a session. I personally appreciate pictures posted that show what I might see when that door opens.

As for the possibly negative review, when I hobby, I read all reviews available for a provider and make my decision and expectations based on history and recent trends. I know that there are many subjective factors to a session, and that it would be impossible to keep a perfect record over a long period of time. So I don't think this review will hurt you in the long run.

Good luck and take care.

My ECCIE Reviews
Default clarification

my comment below was based solely on the comments that followed the said review in question. I have never read bcd comments or locker room info. I have no inside info. I was merely trying to be encouraging to BB. I have been publicly accused of gaining access and discussing the bcd of this review. I know nothing, and frankly, nor do I care.~thankyou

Keep your head up and move on. That review is nothing more than a gnat, buzzing around.

best,
Ck

I have no desire to discuss this anymore, but I wanted to tell crystal thank you for being encouraging. I knew what you were trying to say and I know you didn't mean it in the literal sense. Panda bear...thank you. I remember you and you were a gentleman I enjoyed spending time with. Very delightful and peaceful man. See you sometime again perhaps?
