The most renowned agency around town had "issues". Another one seemed to ensnare young women with FRIED CHICKEN and keep them around by controlling the CHICKEN. Another formed around the personality of a young woman who couldn't teach the girls that they weren't streetwalkers.

Meanwhile Rochester has had boom times with great independent women who provided great service and who could handle all the screening, making appointments, keeping appointments, and other TCB.

If a guy wants to do his best to ensure he is truly visiting a willing woman who is free of coercion or other CHICKEN weaknesses, the odds go up if that woman is independent.

I have never given my number to an Agency girl, but a few times an agency girl gave me her number and told me to call her direct in the future. This was, of course, to get rid of the middle man. I get a lower price and she gets more.

Giving your number to a provider....why not? Are these girls under legal contract with you, have they signed a non-compete agreement, and if so, I'd like to see it. Have I given my number to a provider in hopes of reaching out to them UTR without an agency middleman, absolutely. Have seen my fair share of shining examples of Agency greed, and honestly if I think they might be interested in going direct to achieve both a lower rate, and direct compensation......absolutely.

Where some agencies feel they have some sort of entitlement is beyond me.....they cultivated the provider, provided her with some provider education, and she/they get smart and go their own way........I want to be a client they reach out to to schedule an appointment. If I felt the appointment merited a return, I would gladly skirt the agency.

ROI apply s to escorts too. If I'm a provider, offering up my body and mind for an hour, how long and how hard must I work to realize some ROI that makes me feel it is all worth it. If I'm giving up 20, 30 or 40% of my earnings to an agency, I'd take every opportunity to get out on my own.

Are there any fixed costs associated with "pimping" or peddling talent? Room fees, cell phone charges, time to screen a client, Internet advertising time and or expenses.....certainly, they do not ad up to 100's or 1000's per month. If LE gets involved and your talent gets jammed up, are you revealing your identity to help out your investment, or are you sitting anonymously on your front porch sipping Mai Tai's while your "girls" take all the risk?

Do I use agencies yes, have I had some good experiences, yes....but at what cost? To answer once again, I have no qualms whatsoever in skirting an agency and providing my number in hopes that she opens her eyes and realizes that her "agency" is getting rich at her expense.

To simplify what screwonfirstdate said, sometimes its a win-win-lose situation. When a client and provider click, the client gets a bargain, the provider takes home more money and the agency (that in my experience often overbooks the girl and wears her out, which often makes her jaded) is eliminated from the equation

I'm not too concerned with the money, of course I like to make it, but I will not lower the rate to have a higher volume. The very idea is disgusting! I would rather (and do) have a higher rate, clean, upscale gentlemen and a very low volume. I will not be one of those places that have men passing each other in dark, creepy hallways. Ew!

The women I book for give me their schedules each week and tell me when & how many hours they would like. They let me know after each appointment if they felt safe with the gentleman or if anything was...off. They ALWAYS have the choice whether to see a gentleman for a second meeting.
And as for taking a huge chunk of my ladies' money, it is simply not true. My ladies are paid extremely well, they are well cared for and treated right.
My girls are protected and safe, they are well paid, they have choices, and they enjoy being here.
For Eccie's listing I am an agency, but after hearing all the nasty comments about agencies, I realize that is not my establishment at all.
I book for the ladies and provide them with a very safe place to "play."
Women can do it on their own, but I hire respectable college girls who don't feel safe on their own, don't want the hassle of NCNS, and who don't want strange men in their own homes. And as for a contract, the very idea is ridiculous.
I enjoy helping people and making people happy, I don't do this to get rich.
And in my original question I said that I was not angry or upset about men giving their numbers, merely confused about the situation. And FYI, never had a Mai Tai, and I'm also a provider who gets the same rate as all the rest of my ladies.

I've been in the business for a quick minute, and I can say that I spend more time on marketing and screening than I do actually seeing clients. I've had several women come to me asking for assistance since my background is in business and marketing, but I've just not known how to go about it. I so appreciate someone like you who's offering support and guidance for others.

I'm an Indy, and my background is in business. I'm was a designer and ran my own jewelry design business for 5 years. So, I track my expenses and revenue pretty carefully.

When I travel, I easily spend 30% of my gross revenue on travel and marketing expenses. That's a conservative estimate. Now, that doesn't include the hours I spend marketing, screening and managing the admin involved in the biz.

With that said... I only see AWESOME clients. Once they get through my screening process, I'm completely unworried about them beig LE or creeps or whatever. I have a great time, and stay I stay in lovely places. I wouldn't want to turn over what I do to an agency. I wouldn't trust someone else to do it the way I do it.

However, lots of girls don't know how to do what I do. They don't know how to screen, and aren't old enough to trust their gut when it comes to who to trust.

I can see that for these girls, a great ageny can be godsend.
It's a basic cost/value formula. For many of these girls, they couldn't be in the business were it not for an agency.

The flip side of it is, as I see it, is that the Agencies should actually encourage their girls to go out on their own and spread their wings. When my mentor trained me, I agreed to pay her 5k over time, by putting aside 10% from each session. She was available to me whenever I needed her on the phone, and that was that. The better I did, the better she did. Things should always be a win-win.
