My ECCIE Reviews

I'm not much of a burger girl, but I like IN-N-OUT Burgers from CA! I don't know...after watching the news yesterday about the *pink slime* they use for fillers...I kinda lost my appetite for hamburger meat!

For what it's worth, HEB and Costco don't use the p-slime. Can't vouch for In-N-Out, my first stop whenever I go back to Cali.

I noticed the signs at HEB when I was in there yesterday. And I've watched Costco fresh grind the meat when I go there early in the morning, so I know they're good! Great prices at Costco too, if you don't mind buying in packs of 5 pounds! LOL I wonder if Fuddruckers uses pink slime? Also, has anyone tried their exotic burgers! Elk, buffalo, and I think Ostrich are all on the menu now, and have been for a year or two!

I Have to nominate CBQ eatery in schertz. Selma Speedtrap burger is the way to go in my opnion. Tell me you don't like Cheddar, Chicken fried bacon, and a fried egg on top!

Alamo Springs Cafe east of Comfort by the bat cave( no joke ) amazing burgers, don't even mess with the sides but they're good too. Google them for directions and go in the evening and watch tens of thousands of bats fly out of the old railroad tunnel - away from the restaurant btw

I "award" myself w/Fuddruckers on an almost weekly basis; I eat @ Chesters only when I'm REALLY hungry (read no breakfast, lunch and it's at least 3pm - that's one MONSTER burger). Both are excellent in my opinion...

Hmmm...that's very close to me and I've never been there. Will have to try it next time I get a burger craving! Thanks Ozzie!

Although its not around anymore I loved the big burger at Lil Hipp's. But I think Armadillo's has continued the menu.

I miss Hipps.
Haven't walked in since they closed.
Timbos took the torch for them.

I would have to go with a bracken burger. I think it's the same place Jimmyww was talking about. It's one of my fav's and the onion rings are the bomb. If I was still in cali it would have to be the in-N-out burger.
