I took a trip to Shreveport in the weeks before Christmas and did great! I was really surprised. Shreveport hobbyist are really nice and a lot of them where really good looking! I will definitely be making another trip. If I did that well in mid-December, I can't imagine how well I would do now.

Maybe we should just get a busload of us together and go as a "team," all cheerleaders, short skirts, knee-high boots, and oh, yes, lots of bouncing pompoms.

I'm thinking about it the first week of May. Somebody PM me with suggestions on where to stay, what to eat (no, I didn't say WHO to eat), perhaps what casinos I might want to drop a dollar or three in. Hmmm, this could be a fun trip and a nice break from Houston. Everybody needs to get away now and then so they'll appreciate home even more.

This is the BEST Idea I heard, Make a 3-hour Ride, seem like 5-min.
