To use your own analogy, It’s as if Israel was punched in the face then the US gave Israel a pipe and gun and then helped Israel curb stomp Gaza.
No one is saying that Gaza didn’t deserve the beat down but at some point enough is enough.
The death toll in Gaza has topped 60,000 since the beginning of the conflict. I am unsure of the Israeli casualties but I am sure it is a minuscule fraction in comparison.

Imagine that all this was either a planned response to the "next time the Palestinians act up" We'll bomb the fuck out of Gaza and turn it into a Jewish "Dubai style coast". I mean literally 90% of the city area is blown to bits, and it would take more money to rebuild vs tear it down and do a restart. It's not going to end in a wonderful new city for the palestinians regardless. And I'm not into the eye for an entire family mentality that the Bibi regime has implemented. Realizing that typical Israeli responses to these terroristic incursions is to eliminate the person and their family or atleast the families home. Talk about inciting even more martyrs-
