Under the Trump administration prices are rising and will continue to rise.

Under the Biden administration prices and inflation were falling. There were interest rate cuts.

Now with the Trump administration there is no longer a chance for interest rate cuts.

That is the reality.

We will get back to this I promise. Too late tonight. And you make us wait all the time. So I will do the same. For now.

The one thing I will say though is that it is ridiculous to try to read anything into short term gas prices. They are as fickle and unstable as Trump's tariff policies. They could easily fluctuate 10 percent by the time you read this. See you in the morning!

Energy prices are not falling. The cost of home heating and cooling has increased. That’s how you actually determine energy pricing, not at the pump gas prices.

But hey, you’re an economic genius so I’m sure I’m telling you something you already know.

Hit a high of $3.57 under biden, now averaging $2.18 under trump, and was fairly stable around $2 bucks under Trumps first term. Am i reading it wrong? I don't live where i need heating oils, and my electricity costs over the last 10 years have stayed fairly stable with an open market.

So you’re basing nationwide costs on your own. Good move. Most of the rest of us have heating and cooling costs which are higher overall. Though they do fluctuate as do all energy costs.

I like the “hit a high” vs average cost. Again, nice move.

Only 1 item has been picked out as having lower prices, while measurements are taken on a broad group of items.

If you want to just pick out an item, this can make it easy for you........what are prices for cars doing ?

When have new car prices ever gone down? Very rarely if ever.

Now if you are talking used cars, it seems that they are going down.

Tariffs are not free enterprise. They are Donaldsuprises.

Any body notice this.

I guess the Democrat’s constant battling against ANYTHING Trump is paying off.

Aren't you.....doing that? Basing nationwide costs on your own increase? Average is....average. Some pay less, some pay more, on AVERAGE it's decreased. I can't math it any more math-y than that. I can hand pick a remote town in Alaska who's cost is up 600% since Trump took office. Does that mean it's up 600% everywhere?

Read my post. I never based anything on my anecdotal experience. But nice try.

See what?

If what you say is true, than why is the price of energy on the rise? If it is as good as you say, why ain't they burning oil at power plants to drop the price? Can't be because they burn coal. If so, why not go back to steam powered cars so the maggies can claim they are further deregulating, cost cutting, propping upt *clean* coal?

And the little people are hurting more due to fiscally incompetant conservative spending.

Glad you live in a tiny sheltered community that doesn't have to experience the hardships the rest of this country is.
