If you want to be associated with that repost, I was obviously premature when I said yesterday that you could not disappoint me more.

And you wanna throw down with this fraud idea now, too? Okay.

Ya know that 10 Million number I keep quoting? Actually, that was the OLD number...from the House proposal. The Senate bill bumps that number to 17 Million.

17 Million people who had healthcare coverage are gonna lose it.

Not fraudsters. Children in poor families. Poor people in rural areas and inner cities. A bunch of people that actually WORK, but they get a break on coverage through expanded funds from the ACA.

And in rural areas especially, more of them are Republicans than Democrats. MAGA all the way. Really.

You'll find out. This bill is going to pass. And it will take awhile. But the stories will start coming out. And just like with immigration, a fuckload of people are gonna start crying "We didn't know we voted for this!"

And just because they lose coverage doesn't mean they won't get healthcare. It will just cost a lot more when they do because it will be more urgent. Their needs will be more serious because their care was neglected.

And since they won't be able to pay that bill...that MUCH bigger bill...you and I will get to do it.

Fuck, man! What could go wrong?

Members should look inward to determine if a modification of their posting style would be beneficial in an effort to comply with the Guidelines that each member agrees to abide by when they log in to the Forums.

#1 - Avoid cases of unprovoked rudeness to others. No place for it here. Yes, with the dynamic nature of the threads and topics, tempers will flare and things will become heated from time to time. You may often encounter individuals who become passionate or emotional when expressing one's opinion or point of view. That's all understood and perfectly acceptable within reason…….but, start slamming or bashing another member and be met with consequences.

One in five Americans are benefitting in some fashion from Medicaid.
That is over 71 million people.
Many deserve the benefits.

But many take advantage of the system.

Number one - press release from Pam Bondi’s office. Snick.

Number two - “national fraud takedown” netted 324 fraudsters. Amazingly low number considering the fact that Medicaid fraud is a big business in the legal arena and has been for decades. And they used the DOJ and LE at national, state and local levels to net these fraudsters?? SNICK

As a result of this YUGE roundup, Trump’s mindless flock of dipshits in Congress are willing to strip essential health care from millions.

SNICK

Thanks for putting this all into perspective.

Yeah...the people netted in that operation are PROVIDERS, not people receiving benefits.

That's where the real fraud is in the system. Not with the millions who will lose their coverage.

Perspective is based on point of view.

Your’s, (seems to be), let the system go on being scammed because the good out weighs the bad.

Mine is why not get rid of the fraud and STILL allow those that need it collect their full benefits.

Your’s is predicated on your hatred for the President.

Mine is predicated on the President doing what is best for America, especially the Tax Payers.

Medicaid is state run. The federal govt provides matching funds to the state for their programs. There is no Medicaid federal employees except that define minimum standards and rules the states must use to receive the match. Essentially what this bill does is make it more stringent for the state match, hence providing states with less money. Mostly red states will be hurt as states like Maryland and CA depend less on the match than say Louisiana and Mississippi.

Of course a complete lack of understanding how these things work allow our MAGA friends to continue saying things that are patently incorrect.

Both of those statements in red are untrue and out of fucking line.

As for the last sentence....many of the 17 Million who will lose coverage are tax payers.

They are using the "fraud" angle to gaslight everyone on the real issue, which is that they need to cut these people off so that they don't add EVEN MORE debt to the $3+ Trillion that they are going to add.

As I said, you will find out. The press will be all over it as it starts happening. I'll help make sure you don't miss it.

Excellent point about red states. Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana...all red states that are hard MAGA. And are going to have massive amounts of people lose coverage.

As I said, the news will once again be filled with people crying "We didn't know we voted for THIS!!"

I don’t care if people are yellow, brown, black, or white, conservative, liberal, red state, blue state, gay, straight, or anything else.

If they are Using fraudulent means to collect Medicaid, they should be taken off the program.

I'll take the painfully obvious and non-controversial for $1000 Alex.

Isn't there already a law about that?

THERE IS NO WIDESPREAD FRAUD.

The Trump Administration and their GOP sycophants are lying to you. You just choose to believe them rather than the massive amounts of information that are out there proving that they are. Massive amounts. You almost can't avoid it.

Most of the people who will lose their coverage are not committing fraud of any kind.

Yesterday she said she still had "problems" with the Bill and that she "hoped" the House "take further actions" to address them.

Really? She got what she wanted for HER constituents, and now openly says that she wants the House to do her work for her? What a sell-out asshole.

Default Massie

Massie is saying he has enough support to kill the bill. As much as I dislike Massie, at least he's consistent and not a fucking MAGA cult member. And he gives zero fucks about trump and the MAGA fucktards.

The republicucks could use more like him.
