Maybe you could remind us of which State's covid related voting rules "adjustments" (sic) were actually legally promulgated, as required by the State's own laws. That would be great.

Do you disagree with the fact that Venezuela sanctions led to more heavy crude imported from Russia?

Your XL analysis is bogus though.
Well if you want to say what you posted has nothing to do with the price of tea in China have at it. Your post said OPEC quotas caused imports from Russia to increase. Russia cut production in conjunction with OPEC.

So you’re saying more heavy oil from Canada wouldn’t be flowing to our refineries if Keystone XL were in place?

Yeah sanctions on Venezuela played a big part. So did the stupidity of Chavez and Maduro which was going to result in sharply lower Venezuelan production regardless of sanctions. Production from another of our big heavy oil suppliers, Mexico, is also down because of socialist ineptitude. Incremental production in the USA has been mostly light oil from shale plays. And there are other factors.

Off topic. I don’t have time to address this. I’m too busy working on a list of papers about masks and viruses before COVID so I can reply to another of your posts.

I probably agree with you anyway about voting rules that were illegally promulgated. You’re quite competent to make the case by yourself. You did a much better job than I could of describing the downside of just in time inventory in another thread. Just apply that same talent.

.
They increased because of sanctions on Venezuela.

Without those....we'd still be getting oil from Venezuela...not Russia.

That is on Trump.

Also your assumption that we will lose all 800k barrels a day is incorrect. We still can get 500k barrels by train.

I pointed to a host of reasons, related to supply and demand, including Keystone XL pipeline. I just emphasized Keystone XL to annoy you. I never said anything about losing 800k. I agree Venezuela’s the top reason, although we’d be importing a lot less with or without sanctions because of socialist ineptitude.

As to the fault being on Trump, Biden’s the president and we still have the sanctions.

You might have missed the edit to my post. I actually like going off topic, I was just being a smart ass, like I was with WTF and Keystone. There’s no sense in arguing though because I probably agree with you.

True but can you imagine wtf Fox and Friends would say if he lifted sanctions? Easier to get back in the Iran accord.

Default Real man of genius

Joey Bribes is going to show mean ol' Vlad who is boss by beating his American peasants with higher fuels costs now. That should teach Vlad a good lesson.

In other news, the SOTU is coming up in a week. Sure hope Putin is done laughing by then so he can tune in.
