The GSP has a difficult job, because virtually every country in the world has determined socialism doesn't work, a lesson lost on Alexandria and Bernie. But there's still North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela. She sees abject poverty, people without enough to eat, while a small elite live high on the hog.

Finally the Ghost of Socialism's Future comes to see Sandy. She sees herself, President of the United States of America. People are poor, the economy is in shambles. The large companies and entrepreneurs that could leave the country have. The others have been starved of capital through extortionate taxation. There are no jobs. Unemployment has skyrocketed. The majority of people live off the government dole. The government does hand out free food, but the lines are long, because with no natural gas or oil the farmers don't have the fertilizers, tractors, etc. to raise crops. And the diesel trucks to transport the food to market no longer exist. There are no planes, and frequent brownouts and blackouts when the wind doesn't blow or the sun doesn't shine, or the money just doesn't exist to pay for the spare parts at the utilities.

Then Sandy sees herself, in a red felt Che hat, flanked by her minister of the interior, Ilhan Abbdullahi Omar. There's a line of capitalists along a trench facing a firing squad. Ilhan Omar gives the signal and they're all gunned down.

Sandy wakes up. She's ecstatic! It was all only a dream! She decides to become the Pat Moynihan of the Democratic Party. Or maybe she becomes a Republican -- you can write your own ending. She introduces legislation to do what Sweden did in the 1990's -- reduce government by a third; return to a budget surplus, reduce income taxes and abolish taxes on wealth, gifts and inheritance.
