The primary reaction I have after watching that video is sadness.

I think maybe simpleton is too harsh a word but the man is definitely horribly naive. Federal taxes are at a historically low point. This IS truth and fact. All the obfuscation and double speak on fake news talk TV and radio will not change that. The man in the video does hit upon an important point. For a segment of small business owners the FACT that tax rates are low do them little good because other costs like energy and health care are rising. The man is afraid or at least that is how he comes across to me. And he should be but not for the simplifications he gives in the video. There is a reason why those costs are rising and why our government appears powerless to do anything about it.

my School, and land tax is up. Bush tax cut will soon expire. When added together with income tax not counting NY state. My tax is up, form before the tax cuts took effect. Yet yes all the data I can find on the web says my tax is down. mmmmmmmmmm gee I wonder why I do not believe and facts give by tainted media.

mmmm I was just adding some of my tax together. But yes the Bush tax will end soon. Thank god I do not make as much as I use to. That will help keep my tax down when that ends.

Lets lower taxes, but watch them increase all of the user fee's, maintenance fee's, user surcharges, business fee's, business taxes, etc etc. And if it is not a tax directly on the individual, it eventually gets passed on to the individual.
