The article got this right! Everyone who works should pay in something. You have people on here who think the mandate to buy health insurance is an assault on "Freedom".

The truth is, everyone knows that if they are in an accident, an ambulance will take them to a hospital where doctors will save their lives before anyone asks for an insurance card. That's because federal law forbids health care providers from turning away anyone who walks through the emergency room door.
Complicating matters, doctors and hospitals have no way to force someone to pay a bill. A medical debt is like any other. If you can't afford it, the worst thing that can happen is bankruptcy. To make up for their losses, health care providers charge insurance companies and government agencies higher fees, which we pay for through higher premiums and taxes.

Im very happy dontcare failed. It offered nothing to help people who are sick. Why are you all ok with being forced to buy car insurance but not health insurance?

Anyway hopefully he moves on to fucking up the tax code. Or finding new ways to mess up immigration reform.

The great white hope is starting to look like the great white hype. But things will turn around, the evangelical folks said god sent him. If true I'm sure god will help him out soon just remember Jesus trumpers. This story may end the same way.

to start with monkey face you are not forced to buy car ins, but if you own a car and want to drive you are required to have ins, for your own good to protect you and mostly others from dipshits like yourself who smoke (prohibited subject) so lite up another one and kill some more brain cells

Also insurance you are required to have on a car is not to protect you at all its to protect others from the damage you may cause, to make them whole again.

Are we all not damaged by the guy that shows up at the hospital with no insurance at all. You can rack up a very large bill in a very short time we all are stuck paying for it.

The great white hope was an old boxer they brought out to try and beat the black champ. It went poorly. The great white hype was a movie i thought was funny. They hyped a white guy like he could beat the black champ. It went poorly. I just see a lot of trump in both stories.

As far as insurance. You are only required to have liability insurance. That does NOT cover you. It covers who you hit. It does not cover you for uninsured motorist. Actually uninsured motorist is an add on now to full coverage on most plans.
