The NBA is doing a horrible disservice to these kids. The D league either needs to expand with a program similar to baseball or leave these kids alone in college at least 2 years and probably 3.

I like the rules for baseball recruiting. You can go pro directly out of HS. There are some HS basketball players who are that good. There are others who will make a huge mistake too by turning pro and not making it. If the player decides on college instead of going pro, he must stay for 3 years minimum.

Exactly. I agree. The NBA needs to expand the D league and even maybe a lower club than D (Triple A). Make them instructional leagues and you can pay them poorly. I don't understand why the NBA isn't all over this. The Spurs actually are one of the only clubs (I hear) that uses the Austin Spurs like a Triple A club. With such small rosters compared to baseball I don't understand why there isn't at least a double A and triple A to every NBA franchise. But recruiting these kids in college and having them leave in 1 year sucks. The difference of KY and Louisville is stark. They are 90 min apart and UK has embrased the 1 and done and has been the model of making it work. At UL Rick Patino don't even want them. He goes with 4 year players that will actually play fucking D. I bet UL wins another championship before UK does.

Does anybody care about this team anymore? Am I the only one that is sick of Shaka's glass half full BS? Craig Way and that tongue tied idiot that calls the games on the radio make me sick as well. Time to rip into this bunch of underachievers! 0-11 on the road. WOW! They play in Norman tonight against a shitty OK team who just lost their top scorer due to a career ending knee injury. Let's see if they can at least beat them. That's okay, Shaka will be clapping and encouraging them even as we blow another lead down the stretch. I'd like to see him lose his fucking temper at least once during this horrible season. This will be the worst record in 25 years here and we have 2 McDonalds all American's in Allen and Jones.

Last night's loss to an OU team who had previously lost their leading scorer for the season does not bode well while another UT (Tennessee), with a "dismissed" coach, is an NCAA bubble team.

Well...season over. Worst record in school history. There is no way the talent on this team should of gone 11-22. We were preseason ranked # 22. This should of been a .500 ball club at least. Another year not getting into the NCAA Smart will be all but gone. Fuck him! This team was unwatchable all year. I'm a 11 year season ticket holder for basketball and football I'm not renewing. Football either.

Lost another nail biter. We will be much better next year. the players are going use meditation and positive thoughts to propel us to the National Championship. I am excited and can hardly wait. we were only 12 players away this year from a great team. I assume it could be the coaching, on second thought, no way.
