The issue here is with priveleged areas. Take the ladies PR for example. If a lady were to have an experience with a gentleman that made her uncomfortable and/or frightened her she could share this in the PR with (only) other ladies with no fear of reprisal from the gentleman. Should he come to be in posession of the info that was in a restricted area and then engage the lady that posted it in a discussion, her discomfort just becomes more acute and might not feel safe because of the gentleman's emotions, etc. If she reported the PM to Staff and the info could be verified, then the gentleman would be required to reveal his source or be banished or both. The protected areas for both men and women were designed to be "safe" zones where one could vent and commiserate with like persons. Not so the info could be shared and used to hurt feelings and create tension and fear. This is why ECCIE zealously attempts to protect the sanctity of the private areas.

Spacmtn... Thanks, but from what I heard my buddy was banned with no questions no chance to tell her side or anything. She does not care, but I do. I dont want that happening to me with no chance to state my side of the story or what not.

Whispers... What makes an ad good in ur eyes? I dont have provider status so I can't post ads yet but it would be nice to know what makes one "good" especially now that rates cant be posted

I believe I was already punished for this but I understandY if this confession gets me banned...

Victoria Lynn if you sent an email or PM to a member on ECCIE that reveals any Private info no matter where or how you got it, you will be banned

No one is disciplined or banned because they know things that they should not have access to. They are disciplined when they act on that information and seek out the original poster of said info and let them know that they know things that they should not know. Everyone is aware that there are many ways to gain the knowledge. It would be best however kept to oneself.

I've posted this and I've been told so have female mods, it is what you do with the info that will get you banned. If you get any private info from any private area, and you use it against any member and they report it, you will be banned.

Report it all and give that provider or hobbyist a well deserved push to the mods and have them sent on a vacation.

What also gets me is that some of these reports are coming from established members. Providers and/or hobbyists who know better than to look at things they shouldn't or by harrassing members because they were mad at what they read. Get over it.

We all know nothing is sacred but respect your fellow hobbyist or provider by not harrassing them for something they posted. If you are harrassed by someone, report them....

If nothing else, there is some "amusement" factor in seeing former posters long gone "resurrected" but I'd rather do my own research than see historic threads pushed up.
