I'll try to explain this the best I can.

Warnings and/or points are handed out when necessary ...no one is aware of who receives what and when because that info is only available to the person on the receiving end of it and staff. So while it may appear as if we aren't doing our job that would not be the case.

If a member fucks up enough and earns enough points then they earn a vacation. We don't just ban someone because a group of members decide they don't like a particular member, that's not how it works. The only time someone would receive a ban without a warning or points would be if it involves outing, leaking private info, or caught with multiple handles.

As I mentioned in a previous post ...not everyone is going to get along here and that's just how it is ...if you don't like a particular member and don't want to read their posts then the easy solution would be to just add their name to your ignore list (..it's in the control panel on the left in the edit options area) and your problem is solved.

As a separate issue from the whole "toxic environment" theme that's currently in vogue, how many times do the same repeat offenders get to repeat offend resulting in a ban before you tick the "lifetime" option on the ban button and go to the IP address witch hunt?
Not trying to stir the pot- I'm legitimately interested if there's a specific number of times that the same guy can be banned for the same shit over and over, and still come back with the sole intent to just be a dick.

I think that there would have to be a legit reason for someone to ever earn the lifetime option here ...since there isn't any sort of cap limit on the amount of times someone can get banned here that I know of. I guess that if they want to come back each time just to stir up shit then they won't really be around for very long. Also, If members are caught with a second handle then we take care of it ...but sometimes what might appear to be a troll handle of a banned member doesn't turn out to be anything.

Candy is passed out when necessary ...but sometimes just a staff instructions type of post in a thread, or a gentle reminder PM will sometimes take care of the problem before it comes to warnings/points.

The assortment of various personalities as is present here and other communities within this site is one of the elements that keeps things interesting and assists with the creation of entertaining and informative discussions.

All true, but perhaps the definition of "when necessary" could be reviewed.
Frankly my take on this is that gals are tired of getting slamed, and Im not talking about a no review. Basically its a variation of cyber bully, and its clear that several of us, guys and gals, feel that exsisting guideline can allow mods to pass out more candy much more frequently.

And yes Scorpio, its a hooker board. But I have found that gals are, after everything else is discussed, still gals.

I think if someone reports an outright lie and it can be shown, they should recieve some sort of sanction.

Also if someone is a corrosive influence on the board by unprovoked personal attacks, fabricating stories, and posting false reviews then the board might be better off without them.

This is a subject that is curious; why would a guy post a false review? It has come up before; so, I have asked 3 or 4 of the ladies about this during the conversation stage when it is nice to talk and get to know about them personally.

All have told me about receiving positive reviews from someone they have never seen. What? Why? Just trying to get a review in for the fun of it, when they know the lady will never give them a reference with other ladies?

All have indicated that it would be nice to give be able to give some type of feedback to someone about the reviews that are inaccurate. They seem to respect that they can not comment in the review section; however, if a review about them is inaccurate, or unfair a response to the management is warranted.

The other side of the coin, is about anything that is even slightly a little bit negative about a lady. For example, I posted a review that was very complimentary about a lady; but, I made an observation that the pictures were her, but not really recent. She responded that I was accurate, but she really didn't really care for the comment.

I like her, and will try to see her again. But, I was honest and I think that is what a review should be about.

I also agree that the ladies should be able to give an honest response: somewhere without having to be involved with a battle or an angry confrontation. It should be, but how it is set up without conflict is the big question. Perhaps a thread about women preference for the preferred clients, and why? Don't know what works for them. I am just fishing for a response to the problem.
