Lisa, as I said above. And the providers who list a NBA policy also I guess feel the same way as you are - offended-- when someone just posts these stupid NBA threads. Such a futile thread - thats what I meant. No offense to anyone. Just pointing the uselessness of such threads.

Hmmm . . . I've done my research now (as suggested above), and now have concluded two things about these "beat to death" NBA posts.

1. The biggest outcry or opposition to these NBA postings seem to be by white males (maybe because of #3). BTW - How do I know they're mainly white males? I could tell by the sound of their voices.

You keep rehashing outdated 2006 stats and what's interesting is your one-man crusade to re-post this erroneous info in every NBA post you can. (Is there something else you want to tell us?)

The most current CDC stats (2008), tell a different story. http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/topics/surveillance/basic.htm
They reveal that the number of AIDS diagnoses in the 50 states and the District of Columbia, by race or ethnicity found 452,916 blacks were infected -vs- 419,905 whites that were (and not included in this number is the fact that the CDC count many whites as Hispanic). Whats also not included is the number of very elite, and/or wealthy enough of us (mostly white males), who can afford to pay to keep their medical records private.

Not that this "what race has the highest incidence b.s." matters to me. The fact that we are debating this within the confines of a sex provider/hobbyist discussion is asinine within itself. I simply broached the subject in query to some providers having NBA policies. I think you attempted to identify it for another reason altogether.

Note to coward: Do your research by seeking out posts that don't annoy you - and only select those to post in.

Ok Cookie Man you're right and I retract my statement that he is a coward. He's just a guy who used a CDC stat to imply what we all know he really wanted to say and do, to strike fear in providers against seeing AA clients. Sure you're right, that's not something a coward would do.

Amazing how you guys continue to miss the point. No wonder this topic continues to be rehashed. My issue is not - finding providers who will see me (providers who actually meet me in person are very surprised and satisfied). My issue or point was/is to give my opinion about why this topic exists and to get more insight. Also to shed more light on the topic and no matter who's tired of it - no two posts are exactly the same. There's something to be learned from every rehashing - if you care to look. But people with opposing agendas will always tend to disagree.

The main reason this topic gets rehashed is because of new black members who come into the hobby and surprisingly find this preference among a large group of providers. We as members should be patient and understanding for although this has been discussed ad nauseum, it's new to these guys.

In your case Reel, with only three posts under your belt, you listed practically all the reasons that have been discussed over the years. So your point was? Oh yeah a "new twist". Well maybe you are right. Maybe we inched a little closer to pressuring ladies to do something they are not comfortable with, or educate some of the newer black members. Future posts on this should be respectful and concise.

Another set of stats for the minority ladies... please take care...as should we all.
