I prefer revolvers.
Semi automatics can
jam.
A shooting range
date would be a
great gift.

Mine don’t love. However, limp wristing can cause a problem. But, I’m sure your wrists are strong enough to cope.
Averni, keep your head on a swivel with all the crap going down. I know you are probably in some time zone opposite CONUS.

Yeah I'm opposite time zone ... it's almost bed time here now.
The reload of an semi-automatic pistol is a lot faster than reloading a revolver. Jams can be cleared really quickly. Only time I have ever had a jam (and I've shot tens of thousands of rounds through semi-autos) was back in the day using the old 1911A1's that the base range armory kept in stock. Those damn things were like 40 years old and had been used for training so had a QUADRILLION rounds shot through them and were loose as hell.
Anyway ... I have a newer model 1911 that I've had for over 20 years - it has never jammed on me.
Once you've dealt with the myriad of jamming problems of the M60 (and I've even had the gun come apart on me!) ... suddenly a semi-auto pistol jam is like child's play. M60 was (is) an aggravating weapon.

As you know firsthand, I like to give boxes of chocolates as a gift and have on occasion given ladies a piece of my handmade jewelry.Other times I have given the ladies choice of whiskey and will almost always offer to bring a drink or beverage of choice to the appointment or have it on hand when she arrives.
Most recently I took a young provider and her sister a Christmas dinner plate when I found out they didn't have one and had no one to spend the day with.
We are all human and everyone likes to feel like they are special to someone, even if it is only for a few minutes at a time.

Most of us wouldn't be stretching the imagination much to view a batch of homemade fudge as a gift if it's presented as such.
I have, on occasion, brought a birthday cake ( store bought, sorry) to an appointment and have given wine or liquor a few times, always when I knew a little about what she liked. I brought an Ihop breakfast to an early morning appointment and a couple of prviders have brought food to me.

I have given massage envy gift cards for a massage before. But another woman gave me that cash back before.my relationship with the provide.

Extra time would be a nice gift too. Not a free date, but just a longer time for the originally agreed upon fee. I won a free date a few years ago asked for a 2hour date for the price of 1 instead of the free 1hour date offered. She accepted and this ended up being one of the dates where the provider fed me. It might be tough to find a date when both parties actually have the time available at the same time, but it could work when the people are familiar with each other.

You have, no doubt, heard people say that it's impossible to jam a revolver. That is not true. I have jammed both single action and double action revolvers. True, jams are rare, but revover jams are much harder to clear than the typical tap, rack, bang of clearing an auto (My favorite is a CZ75 ) , but that being said, when I shoot for pleasure, chances are good that it's a single action revolver.

I started keeping muffins and pastries on a table by the door as well as hot chocolate and coffee(to go cups) since its been so cold.
I have received wonderful gifts and I love it, no gift is ever to big or small. It's nice to be remembered.
