I disagree...... "HUNDREDS" more is way more than those that actually step forward.

Every year people pledge... Every year people post... and that's where it stops for many.

People that actually DO..... are much fewer.....

It's easy to promise and harder to deliver.....

I do not go to CK;s events for a reason I have stated elsewhere and you seem to not be aware of.

I do NOT believe in the principle that a man's status as a hobbyist is determined by the ladies that will vouch for him. This community has many avenues of hobbying that include AMPs, Streets, Agencies and SBs..... It is unfortunate but the few Indies or Agency ladies I see are not ones I care for others to know actually see me.

For obvious reasons, I do not disclose to anyone who I see from the provider community. When someone is known to have seen me or been out with me they tend to receive threatening PMs and emails from other members as well as ladies.

I quit reviewing long ago for that reason. A handful of people try to make anyone associated with me uncomfortable through bullying, One lady in Austin recently lost a client simply because she posted support for something I said ion a thread in a manner that he felt indicated we knew each other...

CK caters to the ladies concerns. I understand that and do not ask for any changes to be made.

I also organize events but invites are extended where vouching is via other hobbyists. We utilize a different principle for the events I have put on.

If you wish to meet me I may announce a time and place down there for anyone that would like to know more about the fundraiser or anything else to drop by.

One of the ladies down there has offered to get involved and run point..... If it comes together I think many will be very very surprised.

Get off of Whispers, he;s my new Daddy. I didn' t like my old Daddy sometimes too. Years ago a friend of mine joined icky... He let out some personal info about his son and the new certafiable girlfriend... Whisp and Sixx said some awful things. My buddy wanted to whup the shit out of their board personas...got banned for life. That girl is still with the boy after all these years (2 or 3) Edit by VS and working. Would that I were more erodite and could elucidate my compunctions. Yes SOB is a friend of mine. He used TOR to create one (I think) new handle. He is in the gray bar motel for a while. I was hoping, since everyone is apologising and forgiving here. That his girl might get an apology by proxy also. I guess a group hug is out of the question. Sorry to stir up old ghosts.
