I agree with what she said... A lot of guys think we are just a piece of ass they can call like you're calling Pizza Hut, and expect us to just drop what we are doing... The way I see it is the same. I'm sorry if I don't reply to you promptly but I've got a family and a life to live. I have never been threatened because I couldn't go meet in 15 minutes but I'd probably go off on the person that did so. Just think of how your life is... The problems, the pop up unexpected bumps on the road and errands you have to run... There is a life past sitting in front of a screen reading/typing. They say YOLO and Candy says TRUE. (-:
My rw is just as important as your rw is to you...

FIRST OFF....... do you guys see how many other clients are on this site??????? ALOT of you guys so can you understand that PROVIDERS are not robots or blow-up dolls, we do have LIVES outside of the hobby world. PLEASE UNLESS YOU ARE PAYING like YOU ARE WEIGHING then that should be the only reason you are demanding appts, or for a provider to answer your pm or text. MY REGULARS ALWAYS COME FIRST, and when I say regulars I MEAN THE ONES THAT SEE ME TWO to THREE TIMES A MONTH get whatever appt time they want. I am not NEWBIE FRIENDLY so please stop asking me to see you if you are fresh on the site with no reviews.
ALSO..... the last time I checked I was considered a independent provider meaning I SEE WHO I WANT, WHEN I WANT. I can turn down appts if I want. I CAN REFUSE SERVE TO ANYBODY IF I WANT...... so threatening that your gonna give a bad review, does nothing to me, the clients that have seen me know how I am. So please GENTLEMEN act like you have some kind of manners when contacting me through pm or text.
BE A LITTLE CONSIDERATE
If you have sent me a PM when I have time I will get back to you.

This is not meant to be snide, just to clarify for others who may or may not be newbies.
When you say regulars get whatever time they want, do you mean that you'd bump an appointment with a non-regular to see them, or that you're more flexible in scheduling with regulars? Or both?
|
newbie to me is no reviews,no post, no activity on account, plus if account was just made recent.
if you dont have account on eccie or p411
as for my regulars? more flexible in scheduling with regulars
clarified!!!!!

Please allow me to interject my two cents on this subject. First, let me state for the record that I have never communicated with (or have even seen) Skylar....however I am now convinced that I want to because I like women that have sass and that aren't afraid to show some balls sometime.
Here are some points of contention/clarification:

I emphatically agree that NO ONE has the right to demand an appointment from you.

I treat each and every person that I meet here with the same level of courtesy and respect that I expect to receive in return. My question here is this: Did you post on your Showcase that you were going on vacation or simply going off the grid? You own your own business and you can do with it what you wish, but I can tell you that you will lose clients/customers if you keep an "OPEN FOR BUSINESS" (active) sign on your showcase, yet you have packed your bags and left town with your computer sitting on your desk at home. There is a reason you have the ability to deactivate your showcase as you desire. Be professional. Use that feature. (I am assuming that you didn't deactivate or announce your vacay. If you did, then those that bitched need to STFU.)

I haven't met a provider on this site that I pay "less" than I weigh, so I don't understand the reference. However...this opens another can of "you want to be treated like a professional then act like one" diatribe. Again, you own your business and can be successful with it or not - your choice entirely - but I work in an industry where if I don't answer a question/email/phone call/etc within a 24 hour period, a patient will potentially die. When I send someone an email (even on Eccie), I don't care if they have seen me before or not, I expect a response. If somebody doesn't want to see someone, that's fine, but the rules of business and professionalism dictate that you answer them and politely decline. If your Showcase is active, then you actually are expected to respond in some fashion (even with a fuck off) within a day. It's really not that difficult. Again, if you want to be viewed as a professional there is no skirting or sidestepping or "picking and choosing" which rules of business ethics you decide to employ.

I agree with you 100% on this. Regulars should come first in every sense of the word, pun intended. :-)

You are correct. You can see who, what, where, when & how. It's entirely up to you. But...if you want to be seen as a professional, there is no options of interpretations here. If you are going to take time off, let your clients know. Announce your vacay (or not) but at least shut your Showcase off while you are gone. While you are in town and are actively working and such, you really should respond (in some capacity) to those that are sending you inquiries, even if you are sending a "thanks but no thanks" email.
The purpose of my response is certainly not to call any one (provider or client) out. I just felt a soap box moment coming on and wanted to vent about this. No one should ever be threatened, especially a provider, period. I treat my lady friends here with the utmost of respect at all times, whether I am with them or not (I would hope some of them would give a shout out that I'm not full of shit.)
At any rate, I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day and an even better continuation of the week!

Ok Sinfonian....... I am glad "speaking" that you have a good point of view, I respect your opinion and yes you might be right, but when you are "all of the sudden hit with having to take care of something that cant wait or be put on pause for the moment to get onto eccie to tell everyone that you need to take a vacation to take care of something serious" I feel and this is me speaking for myself but I don't need to tell anybody on a site my personal business or make my problems anybody elses problems, cause its not anybody problem but mine.
Now Sinfonian, we are not really talking about vacation but three days. One thing with me if you message me, I always respond asap. I can say my communication skills are on point but my boundaries are not on point. But I said what I said and now its a new w eek for me, and for the record business for me is much better since I got how I been feeling out the way. I am selective on who I see. ALSO believe me when I say that I have no problem turning or even telling someone straight up that I am declining their appt.
THE QUOTE that I said in my thread
" UNLESS YOU ARE PAYING like YOU ARE WEIGHING " common sense if you demand for me to see you in pm or text and come at me with whats your specials, then that tells me that you want right now but are wanting discount rates, please I prefer the client to go to my showcasing and READ my RATES and not even ask about specials if they want to demand for appt when they want.
I UNDERSTAND LIFE AND I KNOW HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE FAIR, but if you come at me sideways then what I let someone treat me like a doormat.... NOPE SORRY wrong female I HAVE boundaries AND manners. I will go out my way for clients just to show appreciation for the ones who are respectful and act like they have respect for a provider.
BUT I GIVE YOU BROWNIE POINTS for your opinion and how you took the time to state how you feel. I TOTAL RESPECT YOU for being honest and NOT A HATER
ORIGINAL is how I like to be, you always are gonna be surrounded by haters, but I DONT WASTE MY TIME to scoop down to anybodies hatin' ass level. I sure dont have to ride no dick to stand out either.
KISSES
SKYLAR
