Ah yes, the pick an number out of the yellow pages game of roulette. I remember it fondly. If you went to a town often enough, you could find, via trial and error, an agency that was OK. But other than that, it was mostly hit and miss.

And then I came upon the most remarkable thing. Somebody had written some notes in the margin of the yellow pages, and a second traveler built upon that work with his own report.
