I'm not into the bashing, sometimes business is slow.

Maxx is right on about the local economy still not running at 80-90%.

Hobby dollars (especially for local gov't contractors) are tight.

Upon a new lowest bid contract win, the majority of workers are given a choice - quit or take a 20-30% pay cut.

I don't think your business slow down is personal, until it seems so many joined the lets bash Tracey train.

Seriously prices have just gotten out of hand lately. The prices have exceeded demand. If you refuse to drop your price there really isnt much else you can do. Things will likely stay the same. It wasn't very long ago at all that the 200 level was considered high. If prices keep going up 25% per year and more and more providers are pouring in something will change. We wont be able to support you anymore. We are smack dab in the middle of a hooker bubble. Its going to pop soon. And refusing on principal to lower your rates in response to a drop in demand wont make you more money it will make you less money. Say ive got 250 to spend. Well I have a million choices on here. But if I have 200 I have very few. The demand is here just not at your price point. Its a business. You see 3 clients a day 5 days a week at 200. You make 120,000 a year tax free! And that is taking into account 1 week every month for mother nature and not counting bngs on those days. You make doctor money at 200 an hour. I cant see how it would be beneath you to make that. Its your body and your business ultimately. Just my take.
