Caveat: Me thinks marriages are complicated, dynamic things; and so, who knows if the husband might've dropped the ball on his obligations - mentioned at the beginning of your post. Often times one spouse drops a ball, and the other thinks it's time to neglect one of their obligations 'accordingly.'

Back on topic, I agree with you com-pletely! If the IOP is better with a provider than a spouse, then that sucks. You hope that with a spouse it wouldn't be an illusion - therefore real passion - therefore intimacy (as someone mentioned above).

A couple of years back there was a detailed thread about the hobbyists who are here just to get laid, awesome pu$$y-marauder style, and those who were here really looking for intimacy from sex they aren't getting at home, thus the IOP group. It was an interesting discussion with many different perspectives given. (No, I'm not gonna try and find the thread.)

Honestly tho, I wouldn't want a wife giving me some special stuff, just for a special gift, while she's actually just going thru the motions hating it, 'doing it for me.' If I have to look down and ask,"Where's the IOP?," then it's not fucking worth it. I'd rather just hobby. Fake sexy bj in the hobby is one thing, from a wife is something else.

I relavant to almost every relationship. one side or the other seems to relax and even forget what they felt, what they promised or seem to get too relaxed. I've been bitter for years and just stopped caring and tuning mine out.

He didn't sign up for that! on top of the extra lbs, you add nagging and bitching, (which he never experienced while dating you) you all but cut him off in the bedroom, those Hot BJ's he used to get while driving home late at night are now ghosts of the past, let the female landscaping go to shit, stop cleaning, stop cooking, walk around all day in your baggie tshirt and faded sweat pants, complaining of how tired & bad you feel and finally- the never ending moaning about how he works so much, is never home for dinner & stopped complimenting you, never brings you flowers, gets a sitter and takes you out on a romantic date...BLAH BLAH BLAH

WOMEN- take the first step and see how quickly life changes and becomes all if not MORE than you ever expected by doing these few simple things!

1- try losing a few pounds and getting that make up bag back out. You don't have to look like a beauty queen everyday, but for Goodness sake- shower, shave, burn the baggie tshirt & sweatpants and put on a flattering outfit. Maybe yoga pants and a tank, jeans & his Favorite shirt, nice simple dress... have the house picked up and clean, have his dinner, in which you saved him a plate because he worked late in the microwave, warm and ready, offer to have him take a shower and relax while you re heat his dinner, have the kids clean, fed, homework done & ready for bed once they visit with him & last but not least, FUCK your husband! If you aren't quite in the mood because you too had a long day, open a bottle of wine, make a drink... GET in the MOOD!!!

I promise you will find yourself feeling better, prettier, sexier... just make the effort!
and if you really want to STUMP HIS ASS one day- have the kids gone to their grandmothers & meet him at the door BUTT NAKED, HOLDING A BEER AND A BUCKET OF WINGS! BLOW HIM WHILE HE WATCHES THAT FOOTBALL GAME....just Try!

Ok- I'm done with trying to paint that picture- they either understand or refuse to even try. Yeah, well, it's neither regular nor special in my civilian life, and expensive enough relative to my income that it's special in my hobby life.
