Anyone who thinks that Trump's actions will not incite violence has their heads up their asses. Jerusalem was on my list of areas of the world that I would most like to visit. Not now. Yes, there has always been volatility in the region forever, but it was still one of the most desired vacation destinations in the world. There is a reason why Clinton, Bush, and Obama did not do what Trump is proposing.
"Trump said: “My announcement today marks the beginning of a new approach to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.”
The president’s announcement provoked condemnation from US allies, and a furious reaction from Palestinian leaders and the Muslim world. Within minutes of Trump’s announcement, US embassies in Turkey, Jordan, Germany and Britain issued security alerts urging Americans to exercise caution."
Trump is Trump. The people who voted for him wanted someone who would be "different" and they got it.

So far I haven't seen/heard anyone who says it "will not incite violence"!
Have you? Trump didn't even say that!!!!
You created another one of those "false narratives" so you could "win"!
Expect violence in the Middle East! OK?

Please note: They didn't have a problem with people being burned alive or drowned in cages or females of all ages raped and slaughtered after watching their husbands and fathers being sliced up in pieces ....
... how many Egyptians just got blown up while at the Mosque?
But putting the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem ...
... WILL PISS THEM OFF!
I wonder if that is as offensive as a statue of Robert E Lee?

I did not see ANY statement on Trump concerning a potential increase in violence over his actions or no increase in violence. He avoided that controversy. He did this because it was a campaign promise and he can check one more item off his list of promises. Again, there are valid reasons why Clinton, Bush, and Obama did not take similar action.
The Middle East is fairly peaceful right now. My church sponsored bi-yearly trips to the area in the past. I have friends who were there last month. They not only did not expect violence in Jerusalem, there was none. Now, with a few words from Trump, the area is on high alert and Palestinian factions have called for "three days of rage". Sometimes the status quo is best left alone. Most people around the world believe this is one of those times. Trump disagrees. We'll see what happens.

I'm sure you didn't "see ANY statement"!
So what? Just so you won't go off on one of your infamous tangents I'll requote what you posted ... as quoted by me ...

READ PEOPLE!! The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States passed by the 104th Congress on October 23, 1995. It was passed for the purposes of initiating and funding the relocation of the Embassy of the United States in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, no later than May 31, 1999, and attempted to withhold 50 percent of the funds appropriated to the State Department specifically for "Acquisition and Maintenance of Buildings Abroad" as allocated in fiscal year 1999 until the United States Embassy in Jerusalem had officially opened... Seems like this was on the books long before Trump came into power...
Here let me make it easy for you:

"fairly peaceful". It would be impossible to make this shit up.
I guess it is possible that some of these posters have a reading comprehension problem. Perhaps eccie ought to sponsor on online course.
I guess the Syrians can go home now.

Well Speedy, what were the valid reasons why Clinton, Bush and Obama kicking the NK nuclear threat down the road? What do “learned” people say about this? Back to Israel. The Israelis have considered Jerusalem their capital for ever. The world knows this. Arabs also live there. They know it. This is a formality. Trump acknowledged what everyone already knows. He did not move the embassy yet. The US built a very large building in Jerusalem a couple years ago. It’s called the consulate. He could have changed the name to US Embassy today. Embassies are usually located in a countries capital. But Trump says it might take a couple years to move the embassy there. Maybe Trump will use this as a bargaining chip during the peace talks when they take place. Who knows. But one things certain, no POTUS has achieved peace in the Middle East. A learned person will tell you doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is a sign of insanity. Just like North Korea.
