I guess because they didn't all happen at once it's not as bad. Our murder rate is way higher than other industrialized countries with stricter gun control. To me the arguement that gun owners need these high capacity weapons to protect themselves from a tyrannical government are laughable. The government can't control what goes on in the innercities, can't control the border, or even the activities on this board. The only assumption one can make about those who make such statement are that they are delusional and paranoid

I posted that when i gave them facts and figures from links they would dis credit becaue they arent in thier favor of thier argument. Its the same morons that were relying on fox news saying romney was up 7, when all the other networks had it right on and fox was biased and way off in thier polls.
gp, youre beat, the numbers are the numbers, deal with it.
At least you admit the argument about the rounds of magazines, youre there, a little bit, not all there but ur coming.

I think you're being unfair to DOOVE, especially since your a MOD. His posts generally are well written, show he put some thought in it, have some factual backing and have the realization that things are complex. I think he feels like I do that when someone makes an idiotic statement like" That's because teachers are brainwashed liberals" it should be refuted, harshly if need be.
Btw, you can own a production car that will go 200mph,but you can only drive it legally 65mph in NYS( notice how I didn't put a label on the vehicle and specified that state so as not to show any bias for or against said cars or speed limits in other states). You can't legally drive an "Indy"(I hope my terminology doesn't show any bias, but in reality, I like them) type car without modification in NYS . If you what to see where the problem lies , compare the number of premeditated gun killings versus premeditated vehicle killings(any type, no biases here) . I'll await your unbiased findings. It is no wonder they are becoming the party of the minority in this country let them stay on the cliff and jump off, theyve lost 5 of the last 6 election in the popular vote, that burns thier skin.

the nra big guy is on meet the press tommorow, im sure hell stick with arming teachers and more guns to solve the issue, its everything but the weapons and the number of rounds.

I don't respond to him, but I'm not above making snide comment about him in response to a post like yours. The man who says that teachers are" brainwashed liberals" whines about misterminology about guns. Facts like the murder rate in the US being 20 times higher than the average of the rest of industrialized world,mean nothing to him. His individual right is more important the the greater good. Selfish is all I can say.
