So why was Trump so bad at it when he inherited the greatest deportation infrastructure in history to that point?

Biden benefited from title 42 to get credit for deporting at the border vs focusing on the interior.

Trump 1
Title 42 Expulsions: ~400,000 from March 2020 to January 2021, as Title 42 began during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biden
Title 42 Expulsions: ~2.5–3 million from January 2021 to May 2023, making up the majority of repatriations.

We have a lot of cases where ICE will go into a farm. These are guys working there for 10-15 years, no problem. The farmers know them. It's called farmer responsibility, or owner responsibility, They will be responsible for these people. They know these people

So as long as their owners take responsibility Trump is ok with undocumented farm workers staying but undocumented restaurant workers, housewives, veterans, etc are no bueno and MUST be deported.

As usual with trump and MAGA, this is much more about racism than anything regarding national security. This entire administration is a racist disgrace. Most of trump's voters are, too.

Deportations aren’t about race. It’s about preserving the west and capitalism and avoiding unnecessary tax payer funded benefit payments to illegals that act as a motivator to come and stay.

All illegals have committed a crime if in the US illegally.

Deport them all.
