They could have traded up in the second round to get him. DUH.

Not one GM in the NFLwould choose KP over those two. Or Stroud for that matter.

Then they would have had to give something up and they also most likely wouldn't have gotten George Pickens. DUH

18 games into their careers people like you wouldn't have seen their potential.

I've played plenty off Football. Never got paid. That's irrelevant though. Edmond Nelson got paid a lot more than you to play football. Have you ever watched a pre season game when he was commentating? LOL Some people are born with the body type to be good at football but aren't really good at analyzing football. People in the thread agree with me too.

Mike McDanial never got paid to play football. Mike Tomlin never got paid to play football. Todd Haley never got paid to play football. I could list a thousand more people who never got paid to play football but know more about it than you. You've committed an "argument from authority fallacy.

Correct. Both was talked as being bust. It may take Pickett all of next year to get settled in.

There are few so-called franchise QB’s we’ll see what happens, give the guy 3 years to prove himself.

How about the No. 1 pick in this years draft, he’s not looking great so far.
Some will come up with an excuse why but hammer Pickett.

Pickett got 3rd string snaps at camp last year, oh that doesn’t matter, got it.

You gs last two games were better. He’s playing in a bad situation. Lawrence wasted a year with Urban Meyers. But he’s the real deal.

They'd be 1-5 right now without their amazing defense. The team is winning despite KP/Canada, not because of them.

... There's room for error and room for praise in EVERYONES comment
- as we're all just giving our OPINIONS here.
No need to barney about things.

... I happen to agree-with Bambino, tommy and Charly on most
of their views on the Steelers but the season is not even
'alfway over... Can we wait just a bit longer to see how
Pickett progresses before we soak him?? ... Just a thought.

Big game today. Steelers always have a tough time with the Jags. Even when they have a bum at QB. Now they have the real deal with good skill players. Their D is a mixed bag. Good against the run, shaky against the pass. They do have 9 INTs and have dropped 7 others. Will KP and the offense build on their 4rth qtr prowess against the Rams?

We’ll see soon.

Tough to predict what will happen in these shitty conditions. I don't like rain games. They typically lead to sloppy football. Although I did like them when we had the Bus because it clearly favored his skillset.

I would say the conditions will favor the Steelers. KP had played in this stadium for 7yrs. Najee is a big power back and Tomlin relishes ugly games. On the other hand. Lawrence has played in the south His whole career. Étienne is a speed back. Im liking the Steelers in this one.

So far, so ugly. No first downs. Jags dropped an easy pick six and KP underthrows Pickens for a big gainer. 6/0 Jags. D playing tough

Geez. Pickett misses a wide open DJ in the end zone. Can’t blame Canada today. He’s missing open receivers.
