And I couldn't come up with anything on the sentence beginning with "Moreover...." Other than that, I think the translation is pretty accurate, although I admit I don't speak NC/NS all that fluently.

I agree. I don't understand why one would choose to see a provider 30 miles away and the possibility of the appointment not happening didn't cross his mind at all. He made the choice to make the trip. And breaking things while angry also scares me. Yikes!
