Mokoa can take care of himself. He has proven that in the past. Your method of helping him is not very effective.

Welcome to Bizarro Eccie: I agree with outspoken gentleman from the north. On this point, at least.

Aren't moderators, by definition, charged to facilitate discussion, not terminate it? The thread in question was ended without warning, likely because the moderator(s) objected to the criticism/humor directed towards them/him. A classic case of Censorship.

I'm interested in this quote from JJ...

Quote:
Whispers, have fun with that. Just make sure that you don't spam the boards. That is against the guidelines and it is a grounds to ban a member.
What guideline is spamming the board a violation of?

Thanks for pointing that out, Wakeup. You are correct, there is no guideline against spamming, although there is an infraction that we can give for spamming. Go figure.

Now I'm curious. I'll have to look it up later on today.

JJ, while you are looking up the spamming guideline, see if you can locate the Ignore Button also.

We seem to be in dire need of it recently and I am certain it would be well put to use right now.

Thumbs up to you and Mokoa.

Mr. Dogg I don't know how it works here, but it is impossible to moderate people if you put them on ignore!

I'm kind of freaking out here a little. In a span of less than 72 hours, this OP has gone from mildly amusing, to extremely irritating, to obnoxious and boring. Are you sure you're not my ex-wife?

Worth stating twice.....

Mods here in San Antonio seem intent on steering threads...... allowing very little flexibility to those that participate and looking for reasons to close down anything they do not like....

If anyone was around at the end of ASPD they should recognize San Antonio as a lot of what some areas looked like.....

It seems when some cleanup was needed that no one paid any attention to SA....

calm down..... nuttin to get excited about here....... besides.. it's been less than 24 hours actually....

What;s everyone all worked up about? It's not like a single member can change the face of a community and run everyone off now is it?

I'll cop to "mildly amusing, extremely irritating and obnoxious" but am not remotely boring.....
