It happened so fast by the front door that I didn't have time to think and grab my tennis racquet. Dammit! This has never happened to me before so my mind was a little slow. When he asked me to "compromise"....I was speechless for a few seconds then I told him I wasn't ready to have a session. Then he kinda mumbled,"But you said you just showered."
I DID just shower....not for him...dumbass! How dare he even say that?
After he left, I was STUNNED...and I thought to myself...."Wow, I think I'm offended!"
He e-mailed me with 2 reputable provider references. I e-mailed one and she said that I would really like this client. He's not only good looking, but clean and polite.
I still don't know if he knew exactly what he was doing or it was an honest mistake regarding the rate. BUT....asking me to 'compromise' was out of line!

Compromise what? Your principles? Your rate?
You were kind to decline politely. He should have given you the balance, apologized for HIS mistake and left.

When I couldn't reach him 3 times on the phone...I lost it and cried. I just felt soooo used and soooo low. I felt terrible...I don't know how to describe the feelings I felt. Other providers would probably understand. :'-(

Oh, noooo:-( It felt like he took something from you, without asking, while deceiving you. And he tried to silently tell you you're worth less than you are. And he's wrong. I get it though, it happened to me once and the gentleman paypal'ed me promptly, apologetically and without question. He made an honest mistake of being one digit off at the atm, never counted it, just put it in his pocket then down on the table. The dude you met is scummy, entitled and deserves the karma kick in the ass that he WILL get. It's coming to him;-) don't worry.

Email both ladies a link to this thread regarding him. I agree that there is a little (very little) room for excuse in missing current rates but that "quickie-freebie" shit was out of line.
Don't waste a good tennis racket on him.

Sorry for your experience Sam, that was an unfortunate misunderstanding or scam.
I make it a habit to politely and in a discrete manner, confirmthe donation for time exchanged whenever I meet a lady for the first time...in fact, unless I'm 150% sure with ladies I've seen before, I still ask. Better to be up front, than cause hard feelings with a misunderstanding. Grandfathering, specials, rate changes, inaccurate postings in reviews, and simple misunderstandings all contribute to a possible situation like this. Unethical characters complcate the matter.
One well known provider here was irritated by me asking, and put me on her DNS list as a result. I guess she simply didn't understand I was trying to ensure she was compensated properly....
Donation rates are a delicate subject, to be treated discretely...but a necessary part of the process.

Rates aren't always in ads, so.sometimes its hard to figure. Recent reviews help. Sam's is easy to find though. I've seen it.
I walked out once with $60 still hung up inside my pocket. I figured it out on the way back to my car. I made it quickly back and explained my mistake. The only things I carry into this situation are the correct amount plus a tip usually, a pen, a thank you card and my keys.
I won't typically even contact a lady unless I can figure out the rate ahead of time.

My unsolicited advice that you're been waiting for.....
Post about it here once. Post about it in the provider section once. Email the 2 references once.
Now put it out of your mind and move on!
You seem like too positive a person so don't let this negative bring you down anymore!

The guy probably had good references because he did nothing to offend the ladies who recommended him.
He didn't do enough to find Samantha's current rate, but he did come back with the difference.
So far, so good. Then he essentially asks for a "freebie". WTF????? He's an asshole, or an idiot. Pick one, or both.
If Samantha ever runs a "2010 Special", I'm on it like a ....nah inappropriate analogy.
I'm glad it all worked out in the end, Samantha.

What a pity.
It is not surprising however. It is the nature of this, and really, all business. Negotiation is the name of the game. Additionally, men's mind being fed with money and power, coupled with being led by their cocks, allow them to think they can ask anything. It doesn't hurt to ask. Every man on here looks for deals, discounts, ' rent specials ', etc. to feed their need for women.
This is, however, a rather large violation of good form. I suspect he had rather poor role modeling culminating in an inflated sense of superiority, entitlement, and bad manners.
I feel, even if it costs more money, to always walk away knowing you did NOT treat another human poorly. It's ok, more money will come later on. In 6 months, you won't miss it at all..
Ladies: I am so thankful you will allow me to have my way with you for paper. You make me feel goooood. A Prince, a special guy ! And for paper !
And Ladies: don't forget, there are an equal number of bad providers out there whose payment, tho in another form of currency, may be insubstantial. I must say about half of my hobby experiences I felt were overcharged. I have gone as high as $800.00 for two hours, only to walk away thinking it wasn't worth it. Conversely, some of my most memorable experiences were with ladies well under the standard market price.
To the original author: If feelings of ' being used ' overwhelm you, you might consider another line of business. I can not help but see both parties are using each other in a very intimate sense. It is part and parcel within the nature of this thing. You will most certainly be shorted in the future. Run a tighter ship, reference better, and stay alert. Oh yea: Save your money.

We'll at least he brought back what he owed, not sure he deserves to be called an asshole, you for sure had the right the think that until he brought it back..now for asking for a freebie,,a little weird but maybe you should be flattered, apparently your IOP was so good he thought you were into him...can't hurt to ask..

I'm over it now and happy again! :-) Will not see him again for sure. Yes ThatDude, there are worst things that could happen...such as death, cancer, third degree burn, losing a child.
But everyone has the right to feel upset when they feel cheated no matter where the situation is....whether it's here in the hobby...or in my professional job.
Now...when I get cheated on line calls on the tennis court....WOAHHHH, I'LL BE REALLY REALLY UPSET!!!! And my opponent(s) will know. LOL :-)
