Actually, the points you raise have been the subject of both scientific study and debate both about desensitization and addiction. Some will tell you there is a correlation,and some go further and claim violence against women, deviance and the like. I suppose too much of anything or lack if context can be harmful, but on the other hand maybe we're wound too tight by Judeo Christian ideas of morality and sexuality. Definitely the latter. The former, well, there is some truth to everything.

Here's how I see it - porn gives me exposure to new scenarios and ideas. While a 10 man gangbang is hot to watch would be an amazing fantasy to fulfill in real life, doing something kinky and extreme isn't always needed to have a great time BCD.
I love sensual vanilla sex just as much as I enjoy more kinky dirty sex. It depends on my mood and the woman I'm with.
