I agree with both sides,we shouldn't discourage new members from participating but new members must realize that this forum is a give and take.When you are new it is helpful to make your bones by contributing and building trust,not just off the bat asking a lot of questions.At the same time us old members need to be encouraging and not souring what could be another valuable asset.I used to mostly hobby only in Canada in the 90's and after finding ASPD I saw MJ and the skinny MILF from Jamestown and wrote reviews.Then ASPD melted down and I had to rejoin and a couple of months later I wrote a positve review on a gem I found on Craigslist by the name of Jasmine(currently CrystalAnn) and got attacked as a shill.I defended myself along with a fellow GTERB member stating I had written over 30 reviews on the Canadien boards and both of us got attacked.It was an older member that PM'ed me to not get discouraged and the member was a jerk to everyone.I had already decided not to participate any further and the PM convinced me to continue to what I hope has been a mutually beneficial relationship since.Anyway that is my 3 cents.

As of now outcalls are perfectly legal and incalls are technically illegal in Canada. VIPs in stripclubs and MPs would technically fall into the incall grouping. However the good is that incalls are generally left alone unless someone makes complaints to LE.

A further High Court ruling relaxing this legal distinction is expected to be made soon making incalls fully legal. However Conservative factions in Canada are fighting it! Canadian Conservatives like Conservatives in the USA want to make all prostitution illegal.

There will always be some members who over-psychoanalyze, nit-pick and look for things that are not intended in almost anything posted. They seem to enjoy stirring the pot to bring extra unneeded drama to the boards. These Drama Queens are even on the Canadian boards.

Best to just give an honest review and ignore these pot-stirring jerks as suggested by the older member that PM'ed you.....lol

I dont know maybe iam just a baby? My old handle on aspd was Madeinbuffalo, I wrote two reviews. The first one was on a sp named sexy kim from Fort Erie she came to the states foe me. My second review was on someone from Buffalo Spa on Marvin st. Iam sorry I cant recall on what lady it was.The two reviews I did both times I got accused of being a shill. I tried so hard to join the gobc but it just never worked out for me. So now i just lurk

Newbies get mostly in trouble doing a first review on someone brand new that was never heard of before. This auto raises red flags with the veterans. You see a lot of this on Naughty Reviews where it seems to happens all the time, where shameless self promotion is the norm....lol

Newbies can best build their credibility by seeing and reviewing well reviewed SPs here and in Canada.

Newbies should expect to encounter encouragement and cordiality - and sometimes a little bit of skepticism and caution. However, before a newbie has taken some effort to establish his credibility, it is understandable that most members will be hesitant to exchange private information with him.

If LE wants to investigate an sp, they "used to" ( haven't heard of this in over 3/4 years) book an appointment with an sp and show up at her location to have a chat, see if she has any issues of concern. Clients do not run the risk of a random knock knock. Crack downs used to be popular during tax time, so I was informed, and has never happened to me.

What you want to be careful of is pt problems, then you could potentially be caught at the scene of something unexpected IMHO.

There are very few worries for gents over here, completely legal is false.

As far as thread topic, I have met Wnysteve . I get why hobbyiests should be careful, still no reason to call him out for cock blocking, just as easy to ignore a PM you do not trust.
