I would "flash" every single device you have and reinstall from scratch. If you are feeling really adventurous, get familiar with Ubuntu or dual partition hard drives.
Minimum settings:
- ENCRYPT YOUR HARD DRIVE IF IT CAN SUPPORT IT ... PGP or at a minimum TruCrypt
- Wireless Router = WPA2 encryption
- Laptop = Spybot Search & Destroy Realtime monitoring or Malware Antibytes
- Firewall & AV = Microsoft Security Essentials or ZoneAlarm & Avast
- If you are using Windows establish an Administrator account and a regular user account with non-administrator privileges. Use the regular account for everything except software installation.
* Don't click on strange files you receive even if you know the sender.
* If you don't encrypt your hard drive consider storing all of your business related contacts / info on an encrypted USB stick.
