There are so many places to find intellectual stimulation. With family, friends and strangers alike. When paying $5 or more per minute, neither Jane Providers IQ nor conversational or written eloquence matters that much, rather its attitude, looks, performance and perhaps most chemistry that matters most, right? And efficient use of valuable time, right? This is of course personal opinion held by Trees (but would go onto bet that most hobbyists though not hold this view).

Obviously there are other views and opinions that lead to a different conclusion, particularly in those hobbyists inclined toward longer dates, overnights, vacations and the like. Trees (personally, not as mod) more inclined toward value-chemistry paradigm (since repeat visits are really where best win-win's happen?).

Regardless of what values individual Members accord to this or that, Members that use their experience and intellect to contribute on this board (thanks to OP and many others who do) keeps and makes ECCIE an even livelier and more stimulating place. Props to all the snarky, funny and the clever-of-tongue.

And thanks to those who bring fresh perspectives here, even when (especially when) they cause us to look at ourselves and our community with alternative views.

Regarding the question of identities, Trees the Leafy Mod takes this opportunity to remind self and all Members that privacy and all references to real world identities are forbidden. This puts no quash on persistent community speculation, which is not helpful. Why? Because it makes it more likely to scare-away the privacy-cautious and also reduces individuals' sense of safety and security. All Members deserve modicum of privacy one of the most important and valued benefits of Membership here.

I recently commented on a thread in Houston that discussed the value vs provider conundrum. (I cannot find the link, but if you sift through the name calling you can find some very interesting points brought on by contributors). I think it is important to remember that arguing the "value" of anything is 100% an argument of opinion. Not fact. It is my opinion that value should be placed on an experience as opposed to an activity and a fact that those who agree will gravitate toward ladies of the same interest. I don't know what Joe Blow wants from Polly Provider - all I know is what my own experiences dictate. We can argue until the moon turns blue on what our fellow brethren prefer, but we would be only be making educated guesses.

Another thought to consider is the percentage of community members that post (whether male or female) versus those that don't. I would guess that the latter comprises a larger sector. So who REALLY knows what anyone wants. Mel Gibson didn't know what women wanted and I certainly have no idea how to crack the code of the male psyche. But that doesn't mean I won't try
