Anyhoo, as much as I hate to hear it for the guys....try asking why a lady is the way she is and would it help if you could provide a chain of references to help persuade her
Thanks Mina , the comment I made to a well known AA provider which I think she is UTR I think now , I said your pics r off the chain...
And she took it the wrong way I apologies but she said we wouldn't work !
So here I was my own kind I guess I was being to AA ??

I get what you are saying, and I'm not trying to be mean or anything. But you are basically saying that half of young blacks are hoodrats. I'm sure you are a nice person, but blanket generalizations like that are not helpful. And it's kind of offensive even though I know you meant it as a "but there are good ones out there" kind of statement.

Even then, its who you CHOOSE to hang around. That's with any race. The way someone acts has to do more with socioeconomics rather than race.

Nail hit on the head. Its who you hang with. I "hang" with lots of different folks....some of them black and some are not....but all of the people I hang with work for a living, do not speak ghetto, do not act like a thug, do not have criminal intent as an agenda. Be they white black or orange they have those thing in common. One can lower/elevate himself to whatever standard he so desires but...........if you hang with the rats, you get a rat face , speak like a rat and get treated like a rat.....

When we were swingers.......My guy and I had a couple tell us they would not see us because I used black guys in my gangbangs! We told them off right away!

I would be honored to be with ANY of you "men of darker color" posting here in this thread!!!

Just a note, only relevant to this thread due to an early post -
From what I've seen, most of the providers that post "No AA Men" are on BP. That being said, from my experience/knowledge - that is one way to advertise that they are not LE.

Reason is, if it were LE, the charges would not stick due to discrimination and targeting of a specific ethnicity or ruling one out.

Of course, I do realize that some old ideas are still held within our culture today.... And its just pure preference and/or prejudice......

Just an FYI, from my understanding.

Im Native American and dealt with prejudices where Im from so I can understand the frustrations. What gets me most is when you see black providers saying, "no AA men." As mentioned, its who you associate with and how you conduct yourseld. Its not a matter of race.

Ive dated some black girls since moving here to NO several years back. Being that Im naturally tanned and dont look white its not as bad, but I always found it funny when people stare. Mainly older peple from both sides. I think we need more dialogue. As well as people from both sides to branch out more to get to know people of other races. When I went to Nicholls St the cafeteria was bacially divided into two sides of black and white. Even if many were friends with other races. I think people naturally gravitate to what they know, its time to branch out.

I see this mostly on BP also. I think the reason for this is because these girls don't know how to properly screen therefore they are lowering their risk. Lets face facts, most crimes in the city of New Orleans are committed by AA males.

The fact is ... we're all going to be one race eventually. I don't know why anyone gets caught up in "racial identity" of any kind - it's totally temporal - it will not last. A few thousand years from now (if we're still here) we will all probably look like Southeast Asians.

I went to a private university where I had many black friends who except for their skin color and occasional choice of music, where like the brothers we were called as through both the fraternity and football team.

In New Orleans, I think statistics are one of the problems ( diseases/crime etc). Also, I know it really sucks, but if they can make just as much by not seeing any of one group, then there is no stimuli for them to change.

I have also heard the complaint of pimps or would be pimps. But once again, that could be all races though as they told me, old white guys try to act like pimps (can be easily gotten rid of), but some of the black would be pimps can be very violent and try and target their families.

Bottom line though is their bottom line. If they make their money, with less drama or whatever they feel they are having to put up with, then what would cause them to change? You are right also, those of you who talked about having references. I know some BP providers who say no AA, but will see AA if they get the vibe from them over the phone that they are "cool/ok/ whatever adjective"

Oddly enough a lot of providers told me that what vibe they get from the person talking over the phone is part of their screening (Def. not full proof), but some of them swear by it. Check things out and then talk to make a final decision. I was told that is why a lot of them advertise no texting (plus to keep the texting conversations to a minimum, since it is on her private time).

I think though that some of the guys on here are great ambassadors for their race to the ladies who are AA. After seeing some of the great guys, they will probably become more open to it.

That being said, as a libertarian I don't think anyone should tell someone else what they can and cannot do. The feed back we get because of our choices should help us make informed decisions, but no one should ever be told they have to do something, or they can't do something, as long as it isn't infringing on someone else.
