I think if a lady wants to succeed in this line that she will research it herself.

I also think she will ask a regular she trusts about sites, terminology, reference sites, etc.

"She is so hot, and she should be on Eccie"

I think it's cool to refer her and to help her out chatting about how it all works, but sometimes the lady just doesn't want to learn. Sometimes the only thing they can see is green.

I have (by happenstance - not seeking) "assisted with terminology" before, and what happened in the long run is they
1. Found UTRs and then did not keep the relationship professional
2. Became lax in screening
3. Bailed from staying on top of current events in the business.
4. They burned out.

I am not saying all women would not wish to learn. As a matter of fact, I have recently been eying a new provider who seems to be very interested/dedicated to acclimating herself to the business. Her efforts to educate herself in the safety realm are really showing.

I plan to meet with her for at least coffee during my upcoming trip to Albany.

Some people are not cut out for full time escorting. It's a tough job, and a huge personal sacrifice.

There truly is a lot that goes into this, you're running a business. A hell of a lot more goes into this than managing my civi job, that's for sure. I'm dreading work tonight, the weather is terrible so it will either be dead or beyond busy nonstop crazy until we are literally forcing people out to close.

So.... my point being.... thanks to all the women who tough it out in this business. Thanks for making our lives a little brighter. I can see it's not so easy in this crazy little world of ours.

MWebber, I think it's great your helping this girl out. This industry can be dangerous for a lady not knowing the ins and outs. You showing her the ropes and giving her advice should be applauded.
