Great post......it reminds me why I like Ron Paul (sometimes).....

I think many police manuels warn that people who are passionate about the founders and agree with their violent methods are a menace to our orderly society and must be placed under arrest and spend lots of time in jail until they eventually might see a magistrate who'll then set the terms of bail, and then they'll have to hire an attorney to defend them in Court......
In the days of the founders it was impossible for any law enforcement official to put anyone in jail. Arrest by a Sherriff OR CITIZEN meant that the accused was taken immediately before a magistrate who alone had the power to hold the accused over in any jail, and that hearing was one where the accused could defend himself against any such charges.
Today any park policeman or transit policeman, or any such "officer" can bring anyone he likes to the Sherriff's jail and the "accused" will be jailed along with the convicted, and treated as though convicted, until days later when a magistrate finally informs the person jailed of what his status is. And the jailed person has no opportunity to speak to the magistrate or refute or confront his accusers.
This "republic" stopped being a lawful society long ago when the most basic tenants of common law and English jurisprudence were trashed.
We don't have to wait for tyrrany...it's already here.

The Constitutional principles upon which our Republic was founded are "just plain silly or completely unrealistic."
You are what's wrong with America, Timmy.

How in the Hell...
can there be "more" on a bunch of toothless rednecks' wet dream? What there "is" presently is waaaaaaaayyyyy too much. Even the ex-cheerleader, Gov. Mofo Goodhair, can't get behind this boolsheet.

What's wrong with America is the "my way or the highway" attitude of party loyalist on both sides. Now we've got the "I'm going to take my ball and go home" mentality. Rather than try to work together as Americans.
If a state decides to leave the union, go. But do you honestly think it is going to happen? So what is the point? To make the White House address the petitions? To acknowledge that some people are dissastisfied? Don't you think the whole country knows it. Wonder how much tax dollars it will cost to process the paperwork required, because you didn't get you way.
Remember how Baldwin was ridiculed when he said if Bush was elected he would move to Canada. How he was called a traitor an un-American? Seems like the pot calling the kettle black.
By the way if you do leave, take your share of the debt with you. Easy formula for that and we will let you off at a discount. Take all the money ever received from the Feds and subtract the tax dollars your state paid to the Feds.

I'd have never dreamed that I would ever say that to some DIPSHIT, DUMBFUCK redneck crackers.
But, that just shows to go ya.
You Teawipes ought to name your new "empire" Becktopia. Since all you know is slave labor I wonder what the minimum wage will be?
OTOH, pussy will be cheap. I'm guessing $5 (as in five dollars) a pop.

Had Romney won the election, I'd be pissed but ready to explore all options to keep my children from transvaginal ultrasound and magical underwear.
I'd be business as usual. Just like I was under Mad King George.
Why are you dildos so fucking bitter?
I'd recommend Syria. They hate America almost as much as you do.
CANADA doesn't want you. You'd just be a drain on its health care system!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
but seriously, idiots ... enough already! Step up or step the fuck off! Pussies!

You have it wrong on many counts, BMKC. First, I never said I supported secession, but I do think it is an interesting topic. Secondly, no state is seriously going to secede from the union. Thirdly, the debt was run up without my vote. I don't think I have ever voted for a candidate that advocated spending more than we take in. Fourthly, I'm not leaving this country. My family has shed blood in every war this country has fought since the Revolution. The government has left the country. I'm trying to bring it back. This is not the America my family fought and died for.
