You would be amazed at how many businesses that are supposed to be in the customer service arena that have absolutely no idea of how to be customer service friendly.....The legal profession is one of those customer service industries and ole BIG C has to unfortunately admit that it took me about 6 or 7 years of being an asshead and losing potential clients (and even losing some current clients) before I grasped the concept of showing a little respect and decency (and being a bit flexible with stupid policies) can go a VERY LONG WAY.....When I did travel a lot, I found that more and more hotel managers were understanding and flexible since they wanted the money rather than send you to the place across the street, but you do have the occasional asshead front desk manager to deal with.....

Even if they do need to clean the room, ask the customer when would be a good time to do that.
Well, in your case, since you stayed at the place and was given a new room, you may not get a full refund, or even a partial one, but I'd say it can't hurt to try.....At the very least you let the Corp HQ know of a potential problem (I gave them the hotel, the manager's name, the exact date and time, and everything that I could think of to give them), and if something serious comes up with another guest, then they can't ever say they never had notice, or this was a first time, ect., ect., ect.....And who knows, you might get that $1500 (which if you do, I want a dinner at Antoine's----lol).....

My ECCIE Reviews
Default

I did 7k and got a limo ride to the taping of the CMT Awards, so I think I will just chalk it up to not knowing about the policy lol. I will definitely write a review to alert others, because as a consumer that is my right. How did they know I was not a hotel critic or a secret shopper? They got lucky because so many people were in town for the Music Fest, so they didn't really have to be all that accomodating, and the rates were still higher than what you would expect to pay when nothing was going on in town.

I tour once or twice a month because travel is my passion, and I am kinda smart enough to be able to miss about 4 days of school each month hehe. I love staying in nice hotels, eating in great restaurants, and seeing the area attractions all basically for free, so that's a lot of money hotels are pissing away by being un-professional.

I don't have to stay in posh hotels, so they should be lucky I am willing to fork over thousands of dollars on suites and room service when I could just do the bare min. I find clients are more comfortable when they can meet you in not only a safe place, but one where you can have drinks and chocolate covered strawberries ordered for them when they arrive. A cold beer and bottled water go a long way when a guy is driving a long distance, and most do tend to venture out to see touring ladies.

I would love to take you to dinner but NO NOOKIE LOL! I would like to meet the vaginas that can handle what you are packing, but you stay far away from my itty, bitty, kitty. I like my men under 6 hehe. Think we have had this conversation before lol.
