Some great advice for you here so I just wanted to add a little something for you. If you want an easy way to make your banners here is a program for that. It is very very simple to use and I see it has been used here for many banners. Only cost 39.95 and you can make as many as you want quickly and easily. Only downside to it is using it for flash banners is not very wise since the majority of websites will not allow that. You can still add the sparkles or hearts etc... like you see on many of the banners here.
